The BIG 12 isn't going to get respect by having BYU & 2 invites from the PAC 12 running and winning the conference!!! Most SEC fans would agree with you on Texas. They are number 3 because when they were #1 they lost to a UGA team that was 4 or 5 at the time so they only slid a little. They should be ranked below Georgia because they have not beaten any of the top 10 SEC teams. Wherever UGA is, Texas should be next. But that does not make Indiana make sense. Their non-conference opponents were Charlotte, FIU, and Western Illinois. They have beaten one team with a winning record. If they play Ohio State close they should stay in, but if they lose by 3+ scores how can you defend that resume?

Let the SEC and Big Ten create their own playoff. They can also schedule all their conference and non-conference games between each other. Big 12, ACC, and all Group of 6 conferences should just refuse to play any of those teams.

All part of the plan , discredit big 12 and acc . College football and basketball are no longer that important to me.

It's time to go to the big super conference where we have small divisions of like 8 schools. Win your division and then you're in the playoff that is expanded with some simple tie breakers for seeding. Then when the Big 10 and SEC don't want to play ball and join the rest of the teams, the Big12, ACC, MW and American sue them for anti-trust violations funded by the PE firms who have way more money than those two conferences to win those cases.

I love the Big 12 but respect must be earned, not given. The narrative can only be changed by winning on the football field & in the CFP. Lets applaud a partner like Fox, who is heavily invested in promoting Big 12 brands instead of letting ESPN live in our heads rent free. With Yormark as Commish, the sky is the limit for this conference.

I will never understand how the ACC has consistently flown under the radar when it comes criticism relating to overall conference strength. They are stronger this year than in years past, such as with the addition of SMU, but back when Clemson was dominant the conference was literally a cakewalk and still kind of can be. Always surprised me how the PAC-12 would get labeled as the weakest of the power 5 prior to this year and now the BIG12 is catching the same slack. Like both of those conference have always been more stacked across the board and stronger as an overall conference from my point of view.

John Kurtz and all of the Big 12 sports journalists are head and shoulders above the "national" media. I do not even turn on those people on ESPN or Fox. I agree with your takedown of those on their high horses.

Well you can argue for SMU in that they have looked better lately, and SMU's only loss was a close one to a good team early in the year and they have done nothing but look better and better since. BYU would have lost to Utah the week before had it not been for a controversial call. And BYU would have lost the week before that to another bad team if not for some heroics. Also, they lost at home to a much worse team than SMU lost to at home and by a closer game. I think I remember all these big 12 people saying the Big 12 should not invite SMU, that they were not worthy of the big 12. Who is laughing now that they are ranked higher than any Big 12 team.

Yormark needs to organize a conference pact between all teams not SEC or B1G and secede from the NCAA. Let them have their college football playoff sponsored by ESPN. While we will create our own football playoff and March Madness. Big money available by cutting and run from the self promoted elites.

The bias against the Big XII is perplexing. The national media clearly acts disinterested and couldn’t care less about the teams in the conference. It’s even happening in college basketball. The bias toward the SEC and Big 10 is quasi-political and is ruining the sport across the board. Honestly, I hope they break away and watch their numbers plummet as a big portion of the country tunes out and loses interest.

ESPN and ABC have tied to the SEC cart and since then they have gained the CBS success and 17 of the Top 20 highest viewed college football games have been SEC. You really think they care about alienating a conference that doesn't play it's top me members in their conference. No Miami/Clemson, no Penn State vs Oregon, or Michigan. Indiana plays Ohio State which is a rarity in the Big 10. You got it backwards and The SEC will eventually leave the NCAA/CFP and form their own league with a 4 team sec playoff with a Dr Pepper National SEC Championship game. SEC makes all the money on advertising and ain't allowing Penn State of Indiana to sneak in because of not playing anyone and get the money. Exactly backwards
