I'm envious of those conditions we never had that coming out of Falmouth or Fowey. I'm loving the 2 of you sharing the camera work and it was quite moving to see Greg's reaction arriving in Plymouth he was so pleased with himself and his boat, great stuff. I liked his comment "I'm following Nick as usual" We could all do with a Nick to follow..

I'd recommend filling up at Fowey rather than Mylor if you can make it next time Nick / Greg. Fuel pontoon is just upriver from the ferry. It's self service with chip and pin (unlike Mylor) and last time I used it was around 50p a litre cheaper! Enjoyed this video having done both legs of this journey left and right out of Fowey this year on my 6m Ribeye. The sea is rarely that flat as i'm sure you know! I also got rained on at plymouth after a cloudless departure from fowey!

Fowey, one the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Hired one of the small day boats on a holiday one year, basic boating at its best. And seafront property I can only dream of.
@matthewbecker79522 ай бұрын
The white house with the blue shutters in Fowey was owned by Daphne du Maurier who wrote many of her best known works there and the play "September Tide" is set in this property. The more modern "insane" house as Nick describes it was a recent Omaze house which was subsequently sold by the winner not long after she won it.

Great video Nick and well played Greg, with the Greg DreamsCam, with commentary. Interesting comparison of the KAD43 turning quicker than the D4, both sounding healthy…… Can’t wait for the final push home…….. loved Fowey……… a regular haunt many years back with a good friend in Par……. never really viewed Fowey from the river, didn’t realise how far it stretches…… I think a lottery win would be one of those glorious homes with steps down to the boat house 🙂🇬🇧❤
@timk39392 ай бұрын
I thought the same. However, it might be because it's 6 cylinder, making it sound like it's revving higher because more cylinders fire on each revolution. Or maybe due to the prop if it is revving higher, in a previous video it showed the Greg re-propped his boat when he bought it.

We've done that trip a few times, makes for a nice adventure. We whizzed up to Yarmouth last weekend. Our return trip.was rather adventurous as through the Needles channel was very challenging, wind SW over west flowing tide, huge creamers coming over. So made for Swanage for a few hours for the wind to die down then a slip to Weymouth for the night..left Weymouth 05:30 on Monday morning at first light, with tide. Portland Bill had some residual messy stuff. Arrived in Exmouth with very low levels of diesel as we hadn't expected to detour to Swanage and Weymouth. Anyway all is well. But a great 3 night trip. Yarmouth is as delightful as ever . No renamed Princess 61s in Yarmouth🤔🤣 Glad you had a good trip
