"The Big Bang Theory" censored by Chinese government

I think it is due to copy rights that some websites invalidated the watching links. I can still find the links from Chinese websites to download all the episodes in 2019. And it is still famous among TV series lovers in China.

Of course. Usually when there's a hit, something has to go wrong. DBZ Blu-Rays in the US, Two and a Half Men continuing after charlie Sheen got fired, Fringe getting cancelled, How I Met Your Mother's ending, Community getting cancelled, etc. Now Big Bang Theory's getting censored in China. What will fall from grace next?

Due to copy right issues, this show, like many other American shows cannot be played on Chinese channels. It also could be national policy that wanted to reduce American influence on Chinese student. But censoring and cutting it? Come on, it takes too much efforts. And those online resorces were made by Chinese volunteers, they did not go through the hands of the government.
