I have to admit, Howard is brilliant in this, getting Sheldon's character down pat. Thing is, Sheldon, having Asperger's (or it's implied that he has it) could never pick up on the social clues and nuances. And he IS annoying, after a while. As for Amy dressing up as Bernadette, she nailed the voice and mannerisms. Sure, she should know better, but this is a show, not real life.

@Christopher Bingham Knowing what Sheldon's character is like, he'd probably have thought it funny. "Oh, Howard, be a good sport. Get over it." (Or words to that effect). During the entire run of the show, Sheldon rarely realized he hurt anyone. If he did, then he gave the excuse of "I'm not good with people or contact or whatever" but that got tiresome. It's a wonder that anyone would actually put up with someone like that in real life.

I don't agree. I think dressing up as your friend is not OK, and Howard started it with Leonard and Raj encouraging it. I think Amy and Sheldon were really hurt that people who were supposed to be their friends made a joke of one of them. If you say someone is your friend, you like the in spite of their shortcomings, not make fun of them. What Howard did was not right. And Bernadette is a snarky b*tch. I figured if it was OK for Howard because everyone laughed and thought it was great fun, it was OK for Amy and Sheldon too.

Amy shouldn’t support Sheldon. As a better half she has the responsibility to show Sheldon the correct path not only following whatever is doing. Sheldon is doing without realizing but Amy not. Imitating Howard and Bernadette this way, was an evil side of Amy. But for Howard.. I don’t know but i couldn’t find it offensive. The reason behind that is, Sheldon should must know what he does all the tym to his surrounded people and if everyone overlook it and don't point out then He will be like this always which is not good for anyone, even not for Sheldon as well.
