Thank you for your videos. I am really stressed this morning(due to an issue with the rude nurse replacement my husband had this morning. The wierd thing is she is rude to my husband as well as my cat. Unfortunatly I had to complain and ask for her to be a last resort if possible. I'm loving these mechanics. I would prefer it if the "Full hand of madness makes the player out of the game" was officially "the team loses", but with that houserule, I think it sounds great!

Quick question: At 8:58, you point at 3 cards and say that you have 4. Are some of the cards worth more than 1 point of that elemental power? I can't tell in the video.

What sleeves did you use for the element and madness cards? Did you have to trim them because of the odd card size?

Is it possible to play this solo with hand?

Technically it says 2-5 players so I am thinking no. I think the game would be almost too easy with 1 hand as you would have a lot more options to upgrade your deck and spells. With that being said, the game is quite difficult and playing solo handed may make the game easier. Of course spells like the initial Air Spell would become pointless, as well as some of the other upgraded spells. . . You should try it out and let us know how it goes!

I've done it "solo" with 2 hands. I think so much of the game depends on support spells, etc. The Legendary Encounters games also more or less require multiple hands.

I'm surprised how many people hate on deck builders. I like them a lot and it's a nice break from hardcore strategy.

only played it once. we didnt find the deck building aspect very interesting because the cards in your deck are all so similar and only serve as power/mana for the spells. and the spells werent very interesting. curious if this one is getting many repeat plays from you.

so I only do a playthrough if I have played a game 8+ times. this one is sitting at 10 and had not been played since October.... I think you have a valid point here. However an expansion is coming out soon so hoping it revitalizes the game for me.
