When I first saw this movie in a theater in 1973 it included the hand saw thru the head scene in the ice house. This print cuts after Bruce picks up the saw and swings it at the bad guy. It has been removed from all prints since then. I can't find it anywhere. I do have a still shot of it I found online. Considering some of the violence and gore in movies these days I don't know why that scene is unavailable.

This is the best fight scene ever made. I mean, could someone really do what he did here? I'll let you decide. lol But, it was a monster live great movie. Unlike the other movies, most of his fighting looks quite real and it does make sense that he could smash someone's insides with a punch. He frequently worked out with a bag full of scrap metal, and he could smash through bricks with a punch, so really that punch/kill scene at the end of the clip does make sense. He could've done that for sure!

Killing someone via punches to the guts is very realistic. People have died from being hit in the head from a punch too hard. If someone hits you in the right spot with enough force, which Bruce DEFINITELY had, then it is not that hard to do. I always wondered if Bruce's character actually killed those thugs or if he merely knocked them out though.

Furthermore, if you watch the last fight of the movie, then you'll notice that the villain's son isn't there to help him fight. He definitely killed them!

Idk why English translates it to "brothers". Those aren't his literal brothers, they're just friends he made at his new job. The original Chinese might have been something like 兄弟 which is much closer to bros in this situation rather than actual brothers. If they were his actual brothers I don't think he would have had a scene near the river contemplating whether or not to avenge them, the answer's obvious

did they cut out the part where he decapitated someone with the saw? also this is some lame dvd version where they added more sfx where they thought was more realistic but was WORSE they did it for jackie chan drunken fist 2 they did it for modern movies like jet li back in the days eg rom,eo must die, they sounded MORE fake not better also was dubbed in the DUMBEST areas eg jet li wrapping his burnt hand at the end of the film making swish sounds VERY annoying sound affects

IMO this is the worst of Bruce's fight scenes. The thugs get beat so easily, and some of the stuff B L gets away is more ridiculous than real. Ends up beating 12 armed thugs without getting touched himself. That only happens in the movies. And kicking a man thru boards to leave a cut out? Please. Not even possible.
