Great vlog again JP. I spent most of my youth around the Woodhall Spa area. I remember the railway going through the village, and having to wait at the gates for trains to pass. Used to go to the Kinema loads, when it only had the one main screen, that was in the early 70's . Also Kirkstead Bridge discos of a weekend. Thanks again for a brilliant vlog and bringing back great memories of my youth. Stay safe, take care and keep on vlogging 💛

Aw, you can tell Martin is proud of where he lives & all the history. He was so keen to try & show you everything & explain all the history etc. (I've seen it all before because I watch them, but he was so enthusiastic, bless him) I'm surprised you could move after that breakfast😂 Raven might not be 21 now as they've come up with a new way of calculating dog years. It depends on the size & breeds & I think the first year is still 7, but then it changes. Its because bigger dogs & some breeds don't live as long as others so they've come up with a different formula 🤷‍♀️ It makes my brain hurt😂😂

The petrol attendant used to,come out and fill your car with petrol for you , in their white coat . No self service then. Yes not long until you become a grandad . Hoe lovely . The chocolates are a dream . The deli shop looked lovely. Just my kind of shop.

Hey up JP good vlog as you came over the Humber Bridge to your right on the south bank was far ings nature reserve the one with the bitterns and lots of wild fowl ! Guy Gibson was not in 617 squadron when they were there he was in command at scampton near Lincoln Leonard Cheshire founder of the Cheshire homes was co. Although guy Gibson did fly a mosquito of 620 pathfinder squadron from wood hall on his last mission when he was shot down ! Keep up the good vlogs they're great! Hopefully you will be able to stop off at far ings at some stage, very good for photos as well.

Hi JP. The Kinema is where 617 Squadron watched films in between missions. 617 was Guy Gibsons squadron that is famous for the Dam Buster raids. Close by the Park where you stayed is the Petworth Hotel a favourite drinking bar for 617 , also full of WW11 memorabilia. Pure Bomber country with loads of places to visit nearby.
