The Big Bus Show 2023 Stonham Barns & Suffolk Owl Sanctuary

Preserved buses are featured at the beautiful setting of Stonham Barns Park as I made my first visit to the Big Bus Show. A fantastic variety of buses were in attendance from Leyland, Bristol, Volvo, AEC and many others on display and there were frequent trips to Stowmarket service 210 and the Mid Suffolk Railway service 851, a whole array of trade stands and displays plus historical talks and an opportunity to vote for your favourite bus in the show. And if this wasn't enough there were unique shops, vintage funfair rides, a museum, tea room, a car boot and and owl and bird of prey centre. Did I forget to mention Topfield Light Railway offering rides all day?
Sorry for the wind in some shots which I hope will not spoil it for you.
In the film some of the buses are seen arriving and going out on trips from the site. Also some of the buses on display are featured before I made a brief visit to Stowmarket where some buses can be seen. I returned to see the flying display at Suffolk Owl Sanctuary and some buses leaving.
Thanks to the organisers the Eastern Counties Bus Preservation Group for all their hard work in bringing us this event which was a superb day out. Suffolk was Eastern Counties territory but they have more Eastern National vehicles interlopers from Essex!
