What a great line up of RE at the start, the coaches always looked nice. The mw? towing conversion i dont think i'd fit through the tiny front doors these days! Whilst i always loved our Lodekkas, Id love to have my own National 2.

@robertp.wainman4094 were they ECW bodied? I always thought the ecw bodied buses nicer than the others and these mid sized REs look nice!

@@Grid56Yes, they were Eastern Coach Works bodies - the amount that have survived is a testament to how well made they were compared to Plaxton and Duple etc.
