This show made me laugh and cry like no other. Was written and acted beautifully. Wish there was more like it.

I watched this series before my aunt was diagnosed. I thought it was a nightmare for other unfortunate people. Then my family experienced cancer. My Aunt. Brain/lung cancer, stage 4 suprize & given a year to live (thanks to "treatment"). She was a non-smoker. It helped with preparing for what was to come if that makes any sense. This particular scene made me ball my eyes out the first time I watched it - the music, the context. So sad. The garage/storage bday scene even worse/sad 😭. Cancer reality all sucks terribly, but a frame of reference did help when I knew nothing and felt alone otherwise.

*Holy Sh** *im actually crying to this. This is so hurtful especially witnessing a love one in pain slowly wasting away & slowly dying. It hurts on a whole other level & scale which almost feels unrecoverable, but we have to be happy that they’re no longer here hurting in pain & that they’re being taken great care of in their permanent destination. We always say in my Family, this is only our Home for a little while so don’t get too comfortable here because all is temporary.*

The second season of this show was amazing. Season three was shockingly terrible, among other reasons was how they resolved this cliffhanger in the least interesting way ever.

This is like a Who Shot JR or We Were On A Brake moment, but serious & an infinitely sad cliffhanger.
