I’ve tried trying fluoro on a proper curved hook and the angle is ridiculous so I took the line from FRONT TO BACK of the eye instead (total opposite of what’s been preached for decades) and it’s far better. Never fails the palm test. Putting it to the test tomoz. Personally don’t think any of that matters, it’s all sales patter, proven by the fact Matthew Collins uses chod hooks which is an out-turned eye for all rigs and it works fine.
