I've run out of things to say about crowey really, straight bottom bait, simple braided rig, boom best fish in the lake. AGAIN... Having such confidence that if you find the right area or spot then such simple tactics will produce the goods, great angler, one of the very best.

Cracking zip lin lovely fish well done Si, I noticed you don't use any leaders just straight lead clip on line , any thoughts on this subject? Regards Lee

Lake rules Leanne, but I do agree with them. Any knots on the line in weed cause problems with the weed building up, leading to lost fish. Hope you’re keeping well 👍

As usual I enjoyed that mr.crow 🐟👍,do u find as we move into October the fish can slow down on the feeding for a while and if so when do they switch back on?thanks David
@SimonCrow3 жыл бұрын
The smaller/younger fish generally switch off before the older bigger ones, so action will slow down as it cools off. The deeper lakes slow down later than the shallow lakes, so it’s hard to say when things will happen as it all depends on the weather. I generally don’t stop fishing hard until Christmas time cus the biggies always go on a feed in the run up to the when the winter solstice arrives.

@@SimonCrow thanks si, it would be good to see you doing a video on winter fishing maybe just before ......👍

Great vlog again. Question your blackberry picking, were there any bushes hanging over the lake, would be useful dropping a blackberry flavoured Boile in the margins or any other fruit that grows, Damsen is another good fruit/ bait ....Carp will feed on them 👍🏻🎣

Cheers dude, yeh I know lads that have caught on them. I haven’t tried them myself though, not for carp, only for chub

Great video again Simon but come on mate, you have been fishing long enough to know not to pick blackberries below waist high. Even on a short day session we need to pee in the bushes.

Thanks Ray. I think I’m too rough & ready mate…if you boil them it kills the pee germs 🤣 and keeps good flavour in 🤫
