Greetings! For the 14.5cm/50g version, which spinning gear do you advise? Currently, i am using an 20-60g rod (Black Savage) with 4000 reel, but i think, i gonna use some heavier rod for these big wobblers.

Question for pros: does SG measure up to Japanese wobblers? The SG GT is 1/2 the price of BassMaster, DUO, Jackall and other S-Tier hardbaits.

May I ask what diameter flouro leader you are using? I’m new to predator fishing and worry about being cut off. Is that not a concern? ☺️🎣

Hi Paula, When casting for pike I almost always use 1.0mm fluoro and never had any issues. The good thing about fluoro is that you can see the damage and replace it before accidents happen. Just double check your leader after each take and if needed, trim down some of the damaged parts and refit your snap if you use one. Hope this helps! -Sean

Idk what it's called but just tie an overhand knot, put the tag end through the eye of the lure and pull it through the overhand knot, burn the end of the fluorocarbon so you get a "mushroom" shape and simply pull the overhand knot tight. It hasnt failed me yet and i caught some big pike with it
