Wade a lot of us have been around since the boys were little. Watching them grow up and start getting involved in the mill more as they get old enough. Well that’s a good part of the logger Wade channel. That’s just the I personally think about it. If you did feel like posting and have time. You would be killing again on KZbin. I know life happens. I’m just glad you are posting again when you can. Because we do miss all of you and your channel. You have over the years created a monster channel. Wade it would be awesome if you and your mum and dad would do a video on the history of the Mile and even the farm. Like how many years or generations your family has been there, how you guys got into milling and logging. Awesome that your kids are getting involved. Sadly for me I’m the last generation in my family. It brings joy to my heart to see dad’s spending quality time with there kids. Those memories will be with them for a lifetime and told to their kids and grandchildren.

Wade, I use the little plastic bait stations for the tractor and other stuff in the barn. Seems to be working pretty good. No new nests since i started. The platic housing keeps other critters from getting into the bait.

PEPPERMINT OIL!!! Mice ate my wiring harness in my brand new SUV about 6 months after I got it...(parked in garage when i'm not using it) The car dealership told me peppermint oil! I put little cups with cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil everywhere in the garage...even underneath my car on the concrete...looks pretty funny when you look in the garage but since it's small it always ends up in the same spot under the car...just refresh the oil every 3-4 weeks..just enough for the scent. I also mix some with water and put in a spray bottle and spray my engine compartment, wheel wells, and a little inside car. Makes it smell pretty good too!! It definitely works.

Back in the day when I worked in a sawmill Canada started dumping cheap lumber in our market. The sawmill couldn't compete so its gone now. Too bad because we had some great folks working there.

Wade they have this stuff at ace hardware that looks like a big teabag and doesn’t smell bad but you just hang one somewhere in your equipment and rats won’t come near it we put one in our skid steer that we keep in our barn and haven’t had another wire chewed since

The business will turn around for the better, I don't know if you can sell across state lines I'm sure there's enough business in north carolina, I'd elaborate but I lose my composure and get to cryin where I can't stop, there was a hillside in a valley down there that got saturated with water and the whole hillside plus a twenty acre field floated side wise 40 feet and covered a 200 foot stretch of paved and striped county road, just buried it, I was watching a vidja on a drone, I don't know if poplar is any good for rebuilding but there's 3 homes under that field, I can't say any more, it's gonna take a couple years.
