Thank you!!! This performance of Johnny B. Goode is one of those great songs from my teenage days of rock and roll and The Big Push just knocked it out of the ball park! What an inspired performance. They are wearing hazmat suits in "honor" of the pandemic lockdown they were going into the following day. The drummer, Glen Chambers, went home to his family while the bachelors Ren, Gorran, and Romain locked down in their apartment in Brighton. During that period of isolation they created several live streams that were fun mini-concerts that included songs they had written as well as their favorite covers. In their first one, they even wore these hazmat suits! That day (on Ren's roof) is a great one to introduce you to their livestreams (which are All really good!). I have literally said they are the best band I never saw… talented, multi instrumental and a joy to watch… they are individually so lovely… I’m sure Gorran will come out with more music once he breaks from channel and of course Romain just put out a new album which all 7!songs I love … and waiting patiently for REN’s album is of course exciting… maybe one day we will hear them play again… loved your jam… thanks for the fun watch! 🫶🏻

Yes it's ship street/bond street where most of the ren and Sam kids are. Gorran has a great rock n roll voice and I'm so glad you pointed out Glenn the drummer, he often gets overlooked. He and Gorran are the George and Ringo of the big push😅

I believe this video was made right as Covid lockdown was starting, hence the hazmat suits; it just makes one smile watching them play… so good!! Ren plays bass in several Big Push videos, and when you get to his video of Bittersweet Symphony cover (The Verve).. there’s a f/u video where Ren is shown unpacking a bass that Simon Tong gifted him after watching REN’s version of their song. Great reaction and jam.. thank-you for sharing!

Yep, same corner! I love that they all smile so much when playing together. On a livestream Gorran said it just so got a bit much because they started getting bigger and he hadn't had any chance to travel for a couple of years and he doesn't like to be in one place too long. Got the feeling that it went from being a joy to being a job. Not on a bad way, but he's a bit too free-spirited for that. Glenn is the drummer. 😊

What a crazy fun night for the lucky folks in Brighton before the Covid lockdown!!! 🔥 😂💪🏼 If you love a super tight group with an insane drummer on a kit, check out The Warning - Dust to Dust/ Dull Knives LIVE … three sisters who have played together since they were 8, 10, 13. They are now in their early and mid twenties and are a hard core rock band. The live performance was in Mexico at 7200’ above sea level and the sisters were getting over the flu. The drummer was still quite ill. You’d never guess by the performance.

If you want to see another vid with Ren on bass, just search for The Big Push, My Generation. A cpl of things go wrong just due to picking a piece of ground a bit uneven, but they just play through it & it's still great... Also, it is the same corner you see Ren with Sam, it's at the other end of the same street they also done their Bob Marley & Black Sabbath covers on.

Correct on location...the bottom end of Ship St. Later on in your journey down the rabbit hole, you will watch the Red Suspender series of Big Push performances...that will be the top end of Ship street, outside of STA with graffiti walls.

The only problem with their busking videos, is that the cameraman is a bit clueless, musically. Always pointing at the wrong person, at the wrong time. Meanwhile, one of the other band members is doing something incredible, off camera, lol. :)
