As I’ve aged to 62 and made many stupid choices in life., the truth that God is my source has magnified. He will never leave me or forsake me. ❤️🎄❤️People are fallible and desperate but those who wait upon the Lord shall 🌷renew their strength they shall walk and not be weary ☕️is true. Don’t put your trust in the strength of humankind. Let Jesus be my strength He wants us to follow Him He will never get behind us and herd us., He is the Good Shepherd who leads and goes before 🌷✝️🌷

I worked in an extremely busy bank. Lines out the door. Full time. Back in the days when tellers weren’t allowed to sit. Dressed like church - heels, pantyhose, and suits while slogging around heavy bags and boxes of coins. Have a smile in your voice when you answer a phone. Work fast and accurately, but be sunny and friendly. Over 15 years. Then after the divorce, back to school and doing social work....still friendly, kind and helping people.

It's super hard to do a face to face customer service job already, but when you can't see over half their face, it adds a serious disconnection to people it seems! I completely understand the difficulties, and the desire for this all to end so we can see people smiling once again....and I SO MISS HUGS!!!! LOVE the flowers by your cute little home!! I found 2 rechargeable fans for my daughter and I, that also goes off USB power...unfortunately not USA made, it's really difficult to find things in that category, but I have a feeling that will be changing soon!! Keep strong!! The end of distancing is near!!

I really don't get the rebellion and the psychological issues with mask wearing. Is it because people feel uncomfortable with change and the fact that there actually is a health crisis and things aren't "normal" right now and not within their control? You don't loose your God given face cause you need to cover it to prevent spreading germs. Maybe its because peoples social circle is so small? I don't know, but I find it puzzling. Instead of focusing on the masks, I focus on peoples eyes.... They are the windows. I look for smiling eyes, or eyes that are sharing a personal story. One can still be social and kind and uplifting with a mask and behind plexiglass.

Yes, that would be tough to have to wear a mask all day. The mask suffocates me after while, I need to breathe! I know it does get tiring having to see people in masks everyday. I think it is way over the top and very controlling. It is much nicer to be able to see a person's full face to see their expressions. Because just seeing a person eyes doesn't always portray themselves correctly. At least if we are outside and can stay six feet apart than we don't have to wear a mask.

So much respect for you and your fortitude. I have no doubt you'll soon have your "landing place" and you deserve it, Linda. I think you said something about traveling to California. Not sure when you plan on doing that but please hold off. We have got some horrible wildfires going again this year. Where I live, my sky is orange and the ash is falling all around me. So many homes lost again and one death (so far). It's bad enough on its own but during a pandemic where people are encouraged to stay at home as much as they can, where do those people go now when their home is a pile of ash? It's just horrible, Linda. I want to see you safe and not having to breathe the terrible air right now. Please take care. You are such an inspiration and a wonderful example of how strong women get through this challenging life. Love your idea of watermelon for dinner. I had a low carb root beer float! Yum! Like your choice of vehicle. I had my eye on a highlander hybrid , but am shy about getting another hybrid. If I was going to be rubber tramping I would get a hybrid because of the power advantage. But I own my home Free and clear. Known for being a great vehicle you can trust for a long time. A job is a blessing to have AC. Pay attention to where the shade is when you leave work try to park in those locations. If I worked in Walmart I would see if I could freeze bottles of water. That much work once into retirement is a lot of getting used to. Watch mom the ebayer she makes good money doing her side hustle.

My favorite retailer! I’m glad you had such a good experience and shared details of hazard pay, OT etc as Walmart often takes a beating. I’m working a seasonal retail job on Nantucket. They asked me to take on an extra day (from 4 days i did last summer to 5) and then extra 2 hrs a day when a co-worker went out on maternity leave. Now, they asked me to stay until Thanksgiving (which suits me bc Florida is normally where I’d go and I’d prefer to stay here.) It’s a been great experience and I am using my summer money for some needed orthodontics and travel money to see my kids. The mask wearing is a pain, but it is what is.

I've been in retail for 58 years, started at 6 years old. No one knows retail better than me. Because of back issues I've retired from the family business. Because it was family I had to work 7 days a week 10 to 12 hours a day. Plus I made the product.

I try to find the furthest spot out when I have to stay at a walmart... I wake up every morning surrounded. Well, in all honesty, it happens everywhere I go. 500 parking spots and they feel the need to surround me. One time a lady parked so close I couldn't open my driver door. WHEW I was NOT happy with that one

I enjoyed this video. No matter what we have or don’t have, it’s important to be grateful and therefor enjoy the things God gave us, like those beautiful roses. I have only one silly question. How do you sleep comfortably in the RV? I mean in the front seat . . maybe I better go back and check your previous videos. Where is your bed?

I live in Washington too! Another job is Disney World. My sister works there and she is in her 60s. She finds lots to do in Florida with the beaches and other parks. Another part of the country to see! Prayers for your continued safety.

Finally have better WiFi here and catching up on Your Journey is Awesome! I'm also 'Dry Camping' for the summer and you've taught me some wonderful ways to go without needing 'full hook ups' even though my large Class C has them. I wish I could move it around more like you can do with Happy Haven! My little dog prefers being enroute and rest stops! LOL How amazing is the super 'personal growth' you've experienced this summer! Thank you So much for sharing it all!

Wow I have 2 grandkids who live in Kalispell ! Haven’t seen them In 2 years. You seem discouraged tonight. I get that way when I’m hot. I live in Hemet , Ca. It’s plenty hot here. Blessings in your journey! Read this morning that God has placed eternity in our hearts! Isn’t that awesome?

Well done Linda i think all store staff deserve medals, I not stopped by here since before lockdown started. We have asda here in the uk owned by walmart and they have been closing early instead of the 24 hour opening so no way would we be able to stay. People have been really mean to our van lifers since this started moving them on etc i think they had no idea how many were actually living that way, worlds gone crazy anyway keep safe and best wishes
