One key to believing the success of this sleeping arrangement is seeing how beautiful and vibrant she looks. If she wasn’t sleeping properly it would show through her face and attitude. She’s definitely getting her Z’s. 😊

Linda, revisiting some of your videos. So many people in Florida are losing their dwelling places because rents and housing in general have escalated in price so much. People will have to entertain alternatives. You give people hope and assurance that there is more than one way to live serene and simple.

I would LOVE to live your life. Sometimes when my husband and kids are becoming too much, in the evening I pretend I have to be somewhere but instead I go for a drive to the forest or beach and I sit and relax in my car in the dark for an hour. I hate having to come home and just wish I could sleep there. One day I WILL sleep in my car like you. Thanks for the inspiration!

You don’t look like someone who sleeps in their car. Not the typical person that is trying to make it work and generally having a huge challenge. You seriously look fresh and well kept and put together. Your attitude must be divinely inspired and truly that makes it work for you. Your hair cut is adorable I love it! I’m very happy that you are able to make it work in such a great way! I pray for the Lord to send His warrior angels to encamp around you and your car and keep you from any harm whatsoever and I pray that He will continue to supply your needs each day. Your faith is an inspiration and I can see that you are truly living in a gold mine because The Lord is right with you. How blessed you truly are!

I have a $3000 Sterns and Foster yet choose to sleep in my living room recliner. Years ago when oil prices spiked, hubby decided to start utilizing the free wood he gets from his tree business. We got a fireplace insert and ran it. We used our heating oil only for hot water. The temp difference between living room and bedroom was so great that during the coldest times it seemed virtually impossible to get undressed in bedroom to sleep, so we decided to just stay by the fire. The BR was a steady 68 degrees but with the LR close to 80 or . This made the BR seem much colder so as time went by we became used to that routine. It stuck. Plus, when comfortable and dozing in LR, we also didn't want to have to be disturbed when we were already comfortable. I can sleep like you, with no ill effects and others have trouble with it when they find out we are not sleeping side by side. IT NEVER EFFECTED OUR SEX LIFE EITHER. ACTUALLY, IT WAS ENHANCED BECAUSE IT NEVER BECAME MECHANICAL OR ROUTINE BECAUSE OF THE VARIABLES OF LOCATION ETC.. in western society, we've become so spoiled by our lifestyle and the trappings of success that for an individual to forego these things is deemed cuckoo.

You are amazing! I have a friend that passed last year. Also named Linda. I wish so much she could have been a bit more like you! She was self sabatoging constantly, fearing things that were not even close to happening! She would get anxious about 5 pm and made sure she was tucked in her bed in her home by 7pm. Always worried about being "homeless". I believe her passing was caused by the stress and distraction which in turn caused a preventable accident. If only she could have seen these videos and known that there are other options! God Bless!

People who have only slept in a ned their whole lives dont know any other ways or realize that you can get full comfortable sleep in a car or outdoors . You just need to know some technical basics and understand your sleep psychology . As long as you have a system and can adequately control your immediate sleep environment those are the most important things.

I have a question. How do you deal with the heat and the mosquitoes? I work 60 miles from home at night and I am stuck in my car for 2 days, since I did not want to commute back and forth. It is summer and very hot, so I opened the window since I did not want to run the air conditioning for hours on end, and in five minutes the mosquitoes swarmed into my car and bit me up. I tell you I was miserable and itching all over. I was so tired and exhausted from sitting in my car for eight hours, I slept for days once I got home. I bought some insect repellent for next time, but I am telling you the heat and mosquitoes could drive a person insane.

Recently when I shared my email experiment of traveling in my “nest” (Kia Soul, not nearly as comfortable as your nest) for 3 weeks, there were people who felt they had the right to pass judgement on my choices about living my life. I also tried various sleeping arrangements. The result is that I won’t be renewing my lease in October. I’m in the process of downsizing to assume a new life in my nest on the road. I’m indebted to you, Bob and others who have shared their experiences on KZbin. Oh BTW will you tell me more about the driver seat coushion/cover...brand, and where I can purchase one. In order for me to sleep, if/when I do sleep, I now have to be sitting up. This tho, is in my house, on my “couch bed” and has been ongoing for almost 3 years. W my health challenges, lying flat is no longer an option and caused much more pain and discomfort. Enjoy ur life. That’s why we r here!! ✌️🤘✊👏

Sleeping with the head of your bed elevated helps acid reflux; maybe that's why your pain is better sleeping in your car seat? I sleep in a hammock in my house, which is also unusual (in the US anyway). I am 65 and I find it very comfortable. It naturally keeps my upper body a little bit elevated (although not as much as many imagine, since if you sleep at a 30 degree angle you are lying basically flat. I love how you are so organized in your little home on wheels; I am sure there are many people who are not as happy in their houses because they do not have "a place for everything, and everything in its place."

Okay . . I have a 2006 Lincoln Town car. Very luxurious. I can definately sleep in the drivers seat or anywhere else in the car. I realized that my fear is what goes “boom” in the night. Meaning, what might be lurking outside. You, my dear Linda are fearless.

When I slept in my car for 9 months, my feet were always swollen from never being able to lie flat and blood pooling in my legs. I was living well below my means to super charge my debt repayment goals, but I eventually had to tap out of the car life. It's just too extreme for me. I got an apartment, and haven't had swollen leg issues, since. Edit: But I'm glad you are actually comfortable and enjoy the car life. I say more power to you, and ignore the haters.

Since I am sleeping on a gymnastic mat and a soft blanket under me on the floor, I am painless and have deeper sleep. People who notice that say I am crazy. I am so happy to find you from Bob's channel. Loved watching your roomtour. Bless you, stay healthy and greetings from Germany.

I'm the first! I don't think you're crazy, I'm rooting for you. My car is very similar, even the color, different name.. I used to take my lunch breaks from work, put up my windshield covers and recline. I had to set my alarm because I fell asleep, every time. I love my car, too. I fell asleep in my recliner just yesterday for 4 hours. Only thing that woke me up was the neighbor's dog barking. I could do what you're doing, I'm just not ready yet. And my car is 4 years older than yours, but still a nice nest. You're a grown woman who has made choices for her life, according to what makes YOU happy, not anyone else. You're willing (and I'm so thankful!) to share your adventure with us. You are an inspiration, with your business, your attitude, your service to God, and I'm glad you're not taking the snarky comments to heart. Life is full of negative people and happenings. You are not one of them and that's why I watch your channel. I'm on the Go Linda team. Have a wonderful day!

I've been taking a closer look at some of the comments and I can't believe how heartless some people can be. ( Not here so much ). I don't comment on a lot of people's videos that I follow. I do always give a 👍, if I like them. If I didn't, I'd just pass by and not say anything and quit watching. Someone said something about you not looking straight into the camera. You are the most adorable ever. Thank you for this. I didn't necessarily choose my Nissan Murano but I am beginning to embrace it. The hardest part for me is I work 50 hours a week so this whole thing has been a tiny crazy. I go from apartment parking lots to hotel parking lots to random street parking. I'm in Colorado where you would think you could just camp but all the campgrounds are constantly filled up. I do get angry when people say its dangerous. Yeah, well so is life. Thanks for this

I could never maneuver the way you are able to. You have to be thin. I’m not; but I can say my car seat is one of the most comfortable chairs out there. I have a very bad right hip and sitting in my car it didn’t hurt like in other chairs. You are so strong and fearless. I don’t think I could do what you’re doing. Being alone I would have way too much anxiety. Sometimes just knowing I have to leave the house causes me anxiety. May God protect you and keep you safe!

My husband and I prefer sleeping on our recliners even when we have top of the line bed LOL. For some reason, sleeping on the bed gives us more back pains than when we sleep on the recliners. He was telling me maybe we should sell the bed and get us 2 nice recliners! I am also thinking, we might do well living in our SUV someday since we are used to sleep-reclining. Hey, people do this a lot on long-haul flights so why not in a car?! Anyway, to each his own right? Keep doing what you love and enjoy! Hugs :)

I lived in my '91 4-dr Honda Civic, in MN. Everything she is doing is 100 percent different from what I did. And I had no choice but to live in my car at the time. You make your own way thru by trial and error. Once I realized I would be living in my car, I went to the library and googled 'how to live in your car'. This helped somewhat, but at the time I found only guys living in their cars, no chicks. One day I'd like to make of video reflecting on those experiences.

My kids would feel so bad if I lived in my car, but I'm thankful to the Lord that my car is paid for so I could do this if I ever needed to. I love the idea of living small and simply. Right now my son and his family are living with me in my 14x70 2 bedroom trailer and so I spend most of my time in my 10x10 bedroom where I have everything I need. My nest, as you say. I love watching this type of video, and I've watched a lot of Bob's videos. Learning all kinds of good stuff. God bless and may He put a lot of protective angels around you! :)
