I have a $3000 Sterns and Foster yet choose to sleep in my living room recliner. Years ago when oil prices spiked, hubby decided to start utilizing the free wood he gets from his tree business. We got a fireplace insert and ran it. We used our heating oil only for hot water. The temp difference between living room and bedroom was so great that during the coldest times it seemed virtually impossible to get undressed in bedroom to sleep, so we decided to just stay by the fire. The BR was a steady 68 degrees but with the LR close to 80 or . This made the BR seem much colder so as time went by we became used to that routine. It stuck. Plus, when comfortable and dozing in LR, we also didn't want to have to be disturbed when we were already comfortable. I can sleep like you, with no ill effects and others have trouble with it when they find out we are not sleeping side by side. IT NEVER EFFECTED OUR SEX LIFE EITHER. ACTUALLY, IT WAS ENHANCED BECAUSE IT NEVER BECAME MECHANICAL OR ROUTINE BECAUSE OF THE VARIABLES OF LOCATION ETC.. in western society, we've become so spoiled by our lifestyle and the trappings of success that for an individual to forego these things is deemed cuckoo.

Sleeping with the head of your bed elevated helps acid reflux; maybe that's why your pain is better sleeping in your car seat? It naturally keeps my upper body a little bit elevated (although not as much as many imagine, since if you sleep at a 30 degree angle you are lying basically flat. You're willing (and I'm so thankful!) to share your adventure with us. You are an inspiration, with your business, your attitude, your service to God, and I'm glad you're not taking the snarky comments to heart. Life is full of negative people and happenings. You are not one of them and that's why I watch your channel. I'm on the Go Linda team. Have a wonderful day!

@@SereneandSimpleLife Mine too! I do always intend to be positive and wouldn't intentionally hurt anyone for anything! I've been taking a closer look at some of the comments and I can't believe how heartless some people can be. ( Not here so much ). I don't comment on a lot of people's videos that I follow. I do always give a 👍, if I like them. If I didn't, I'd just pass by and not say anything and quit watching. Someone said something about you not looking straight into the camera. When we watch movies, they're not looking straight into the camera 👀. Just keep on keeping on, Linda👣

V. Eaton Hart thanks for taking the time! I didn’t really understand that comment.. hmm.. I guess I’ll apply what mama always said ‘to each his own’🤓🙃

Being a side sleeper myself, I'll have to give that a try. I have a SUV and was thinking of putting down the back seats to sleep in but this might be more comfortable and a lot easier. Thank you!! :) Love your positive attitude.

I know what you mean I like to sleep in a recliner👍 because I have a pinched nerve sciatica pain so sleeping while I'm sitting it does relieve it😊🌵🍃🌺🍃🌾
@Tinalynn...5 жыл бұрын
A friend of mine had that sciatica really bad. Even sitting in a recliner didn't help. The ONLY thing that helped was the way he sat on his Harley...so he moved it into the living room 😆

You are the most adorable ever. Thank you for this. I didn't necessarily choose my Nissan Murano but I am beginning to embrace it. The hardest part for me is I work 50 hours a week so this whole thing has been a tiny crazy. I go from apartment parking lots to hotel parking lots to random street parking. I'm in Colorado where you would think you could just camp but all the campgrounds are constantly filled up. I do get angry when people say its dangerous. Yeah, well so is life. Thanks for this

I could never maneuver the way you are able to. You have to be thin. I’m not; but I can say my car seat is one of the most comfortable chairs out there. I have a very bad right hip and sitting in my car it didn’t hurt like in other chairs. You are so strong and fearless. I don’t think I could do what you’re doing. Being alone I would have way too much anxiety. Sometimes just knowing I have to leave the house causes me anxiety. May God protect you and keep you safe!

My husband and I prefer sleeping on our recliners even when we have top of the line bed LOL. For some reason, sleeping on the bed gives us more back pains than when we sleep on the recliners. He was telling me maybe we should sell the bed and get us 2 nice recliners! I am also thinking, we might do well living in our SUV someday since we are used to sleep-reclining. Hey, people do this a lot on long-haul flights so why not in a car?! Anyway, to each his own right? Keep doing what you love and enjoy! Hugs :)

I lived in my '91 4-dr Honda Civic, in MN. Everything she is doing is 100 percent different from what I did. And I had no choice but to live in my car at the time. You make your own way thru by trial and error. Once I realized I would be living in my car, I went to the library and googled 'how to live in your car'. This helped somewhat, but at the time I found only guys living in their cars, no chicks. One day I'd like to make of video reflecting on those experiences.

I understand comfort. I have an old van. I love it. If I did go on the road I would make it work. But for me I think I would want it outfitted with a sink. And I’d have my porta potty. I have a cassette kind. It’s easy to empty. Be careful out on the road. Enjoy your comfy car. Leslye

I lived one summer in a SAAB V4 and loved it! I was seeing the Olympic Peninsula and Pacific Ocean for the first time in my life. It was all a wonderful experience. It was a much tinier car than yours; but I removed the back seat and slept on a mattress that extended into the trunk.

Just to let you know, you're little signs are just fine. Not backwards. lol. I'm enjoying your videos so much. My kids would feel so bad if I lived in my car, but I'm thankful to the Lord that my car is paid for so I could do this if I ever needed to. I love the idea of living small and simply. Right now my son and his family are living with me in my 14x70 2 bedroom trailer and so I spend most of my time in my 10x10 bedroom where I have everything I need. My nest, as you say. I love watching this type of video, and I've watched a lot of Bob's videos. Learning all kinds of good stuff. God bless and may He put a lot of protective angels around you! :)
