At 31 Propper was our oldest player. Yesterday was energetic, skillfull and hungry. We need to keep these players in the first team as we just smashed the unbeaten champions, and that's not gonna happen with Tav, and I think even Butland in the team.

I'm 100 percent convinced the spiike in performance v celtic comes from the way brugge set up against them in the champions league. They got a lot of joy v celtic and there is a lot of similarities to the way we now approach it against them. Smother mcgregor and allow uncomfortable centre backs to step into the game with the ball force that risky pass then pounce.

That win was brilliant. Thats the monkey off our backs. No more nervy stuff. They should be able now to kick on and have the belief they can do it. Bajarmi for me was a bit of an unsing hero, he stopped mgrgeor and some of his passing and interchangea with Hagi were really good. Raskin should stay as captain and Kelly should remain as our number 1. Anyone taking any jersey from any player yesterday should have to earn it. Ridvan as a LB playing RB was better than Tav. That was our best team yesterday.

I won't lie, yesterday I was nervois before the match and was hoping that we gave them a good match if nothing else but have to say that for the first time in a good while (outside of European nights) I was struggling to decide on man of the match and genuinely can't single anyone out for underperforming, they wprked as a team and with the exception of the first ten minutes of the second half it felt like we were in control, they had very few chances and apart from liam kellys 2nd half save they didn't really threaten all that often. Great effort, everyone gave 100% and can't fault anyone, not just because of the result because you can win ugly with players being awol but yesterday everything just fell into place.

Raskin is legitimately levels better as captain than Tav. Tav is an absolute disaster as a leader and constantly tells players to slow down, to take their time and walks around the park like a 30 stone man. His lack of urgency is a cancer on our tempo.

Clement figured out how to beat Celtic in the cup final and I didn't see any change from Rodgers... He leaves Carter Vickers with the ball, and puts pressure on Johnston. We nullified the left side, we nullified McGregor and within our defense the pressure was intense. Credits to Clement and players, I think the good times will return. 🇬🇧💙
