Does more efficient AI decresse need for computing power or will AI simply be more potent and relevant then we thought? Lets day demand for chips stays the same but AI will simply be better then we thought. I think thats more likely especially if were gonna see an AI arms race between the us and china. The real question that we should ask is, will more efficient AI lead to less need for computing power or to more potent AI. Seems to me that the preference would be to have the same ammount of planned computing power do more work
