I grew up playing racing games and the very first one had the Diablo SV. I grew up absolutely loving that car, and it's one of the few that I like that came out the year I was born... My grandfather had a diesel shop in Kendal Florida. In the 70’s a friend of his asked him to store a 1967 for him behind the shop in a warehouse. It sat there for almost 30 years and in 1984 I asked my grandfather why is the car sitting here not being used. He said that nobody can work on them and nobody wants to buy it. Funny, 20 years late it sold for 500k as-is.

Savage Garage yup nobody wanted them back in the 70’s and 80’s. Wasn’t until 2002 or 2003 when people began to come around waving stack. They tried to sell it in the 70’s for as low a 3,500 dollars. People only wanted the engine. Grandfather collected Packards so he knew that the Miura would eventually be worth something. He guessed 50k.
