I don't doubt it. I never understood why he got so much hate in college. I think he will actually be very solid and so far in the summer league he looks really good

I'm really curious to see how he turns out. He looked really good at Washington State and his numbers were really good too. Super well rounded player for a second round pick

I can agree with that. I had him on my list but I just had too many names in the first round already. I'm really curious to see how he turns out playing with the Kings. Major 2 way threat with him, I can see him getting a much bigger role the more he plays

@@taewilson94 I can definitely agree with that. I was gonna put him in but I had too many first round picks already. Matas was the number 1 projected player for a long time, he's gonna have a solid impact right away

@CourtsideChase yea he was literally better than 95% of the draft picks in Summer League, a shot can easily be developed because he already has good mechanics, he was a steal and he can also rebound, defend and he has great handles for his size lol the kid is good

topic was a horrible pick for okc. they needed a win now guy, the opposite of topic, especially with shae..pick makes no sense

We'll see what they end up doing with him, I've seen people talk about them trading him. I don't know that there was anyone at 12 that was gonna crack the rotation for them over someone in free agency. With that being the case it makes sense for them to just grab a high value player for next year that possibly could. We'll see though
