Man I remember those catches. I've been a fan for a few years now. You single handedly got me into jig fishing. I had zero confidence in it. Now I can't put it down. I reach for it over a T rig all because of your pond videos when you would throw jigs into drains or off edges in the water. Those to me are your best videos. I'm a midwest guy born and raised. So seeing a person from our area catching big bass is cool. Even though you moved to Texas, you were still fishing small ponds. And that's what most of us can relate to. The Amazon catches and river catches are OK videos. But the bass videos, especially with the jig, are the best for me. And any bass 4lbs and up makes for a great video. Most of us can't catch 5lbers regularly. So if you had a video catching four to five bass over 4lbs... That's a great video. But do what makes you happy. I will just said catching the biggest fish isn't always the best videos.

Ty, I want to thank you for renewing my interest in bass/lure fishing. I have always been an avid fisherman since childhood; but predominantly catfish/live. I could count the number of 3+ pound bass I have caught in my lifetime on one hand. I stumbled upon your videos and have been watching them for the past few months. I started building out my lure collection and prepping for the upcoming spring. Last week, I went kayak fishing for the first time and landed a monster 10 - 12 lb largemouth on a 4 ft ultra-light rod... beautiful, beautiful fish. When it surfaced, I even pulled a "Ty"... "Oh! I've caught one largemouth bass in my entire life (I'm in my early 60's). I haven't fished in ages, but at the time I caught it I was fishing somewhat regularly, mostly for catfish though. It was an early spring day and I was using a bobber and live minnow and my buddy (who was a huge bass fishing enthusiast) was cast fishing using artificial lures. Well an 8.5lb momma bass hit my minnow and I managed to land her. My buddy was so proud of that fish you'd have thought he caught it.

I love all the videos you put out, but I have to say the bass videos are my personal favorites, since it’s something I love to do all the time and I have learned a ton from your channel about bass fishing. I am not aware of any other channel that covers so many different fishes and areas of the world so completely as this one . Not to speak of catching turtles and other creatures of the wild! I would really say that you are doing a fabulous complete all around coverage of FISHING . ONE item however that is interesting: or rather a country: RUSSIA! There are some odd salmonides up north and I WISH I could go .... Bass: sure, they always give surprises!

@@TyPigPatrol yes and then there is the channel "always alone" not in English, on the Volga river..except for one time he went to some unknown area in the Taiga on one of those many north flowing rivers river that seem to have a functioning fish ecosystem with almost exclusively salmonides, trout fishes with very underslung mouths but still predatory, Greyling etc. and Taimen, of course.....by the way there is a (or better used to be) a salmon size non anadromous trout in the Danube, similar to Taimen and they can still be caught in the tributaries of the Danube the name is "Huchen" in German, Salmo Hucho I saw it named one time. I think you do it well man , the problem isn’t the amount of content. There are far too many bass fishing KZbinrs these days, lack of content in a non issue. But truly organic , and original content is a huge issue. I think you should make videos that are based on where the angler life takes you !

It seems lately that it's all about going after Monster Fish. A thrill for sure, but people like things they can relate to as well. I have been thinking for the last few months how we could have been watching you slam some big fall bass and crappie and there really hasn't been much of anything I can think of. I’ve honestly been trying in Texas for crappie. 9 trips not one video. I catch them but normally it’s like 2-3 and not big at all. They go crazy in spring but it’s tough other than that in the urban spots I fish

I fished Tennessee, all parts of Virginia and Eastern North Carolina and it just wasn't the same anywhere this year. Everything spawned early and then seemed to disappear after that. Even the salt fishing wasn't the same in the Outer Banks. Thankfully it's picking up a little this fall in the salt. Thank you for all the great content and all of the ways you have enhanced my fishing game. At least I got my PB bass this year
