This time I went there with my friend Skylar. We did some doll shopping, had a drink and a nice chat and took pictures at their beautiful photo spots.

When I lived in Germany I was always dreaming about being able to go to a physical BJD shop. Koreans are really lucky to have these shops here. 💕

I have a question I’ve always wanted a bjd but I don’t know how fragile or delicate or durable they are to handle or feel can u let me know what’s it’s like to handle these dolls and how durable they are pls👋🙏🏻

Hi! 👋 There are many different types of BJDs, different companies, different sizes and I can tell for sure that some dolls are more sturdy or more fragile than other dolls. Resin ball-jointed dolls CAN break or get damaged when they fall or handled roughly, so it is always important to be as careful as possible. Also UV light (direct sun light) is their biggest enemy. Resin can change the color quickly when the doll is permanently or often exposed to direct sun light. In general I consider BJDs as art toys for adults which can be handled roughly but at the same time they should be handled with a lot of care. It is hard to describe. I hope you will have the possibility to hold a BJD with your own hands one day. This will make you aware of how sturdy yet fragile they are. 😊
