Time for you to come back to TCH Dallas. The 5/10 and above tables have been hot Thurs, Friday and Saturdays. The 2/5 has been playing like 5/10 on the nights there's no 5/10 running. Tons of action and money on the tables. Lots of people gambling so they can afford eggs.

Hey Lex, had a great time at the MUG. Seminole staff was first rate and provided a VIP-style, pre-game cocktail hour. Speaking of comfort zones, I was surprised to see so many regular local players at the event, quite a few that I would call pros or semi-pros. I guess that I fit in because I recall hearing one of them at my table tell his friend that was walking around looking for the action table or soft table, not to sit at our table (I guess meaning that it was tight). Eventually, our table broke and since there was no other seats available for the MUG, I sat at a regular 1/2 table. Good decision on my part as I ran up a nice stack. My notable hand: There was a three way all in and I was last to act with Q4 of hearts... as I was tanking on whether call or not, I was so far ahead in chips, that it just felt right to call with basically any two cards (OK, I may have had about # of beers at this point). I made the call and showed my table mate on my left my cards and laughed about such a loose call to what I should have perceived as strong hands in front of me. I said, "watch this suck out"... A23 on the flop... turn, was like a 10 or something, then bang a 4 on the river giving me a straight to the 5. Scooped it. A few drinks later and my AA got cracked by a nice lady... so I headed out. Nevertheless, a great experience getting to play some really good opponents and made some new acquaintances.

Good seeing you at the game. I was a little hampered as I showed up cash light after coming from work. The first hand I got when you sat down was QQ. Bet - got some callers. Flopped a set so I'm thinking you're my new good luck charm. Turn was a third club so I called the check raise hoping to see the board pair. Instead, a fourth club comes, the guy tries to milk me for a small bet and I give up. He turns over AQ for a Royal Flush... So, I guess you were HIS good luck charm, not mine... Great seeing you and glad the meet up was a success. Keep it rolling. Meant to ask you how your golf game was going.

I play at this place in Pacheco, CA where they run a high hand for $100. Back in the day, when someone hit the high hand, some of the dealers would offer to buy the hand at a discount hoping it would hold up. For instance, they’d offer you $50 for the rights to your hand. So many times after they bought the hand, it would get beat. Used to crack me up. But that was what I was thinking about when your quad 7s got beat.
