The canvas I used - A cut piece of MDF Board shaped into a rectangle

This painting comes in at 6 feet long x 3 feet wide. It is by far the most challenging painting I have ever made. Since the MDF board was so long, I feared it would bend under different weather conditions and through time. I had extra MDF board, so I cut strips to frame the backside to give it extra support. If you know anything about cutting boards, it is very challenging to cut them perfectly straight so when I attached the strips to frame the back, I had to make sure it was even on the sides (I hope this makes sense). I glued the panels on, secured them with screws, primed and sanded the painting 3x and poured about 6 layers! I finished the painting by cleaning up the dried drips under the painting and wahlah! We have our finished product.
