It is obvious that people no longer have a reverential fear of God. We don't have regards for THE ONE who sits in heaven and has made the earth His footstool. Some even go as far as engaging in lying and manipulation, using the name of the LORD, without fear that they could drop dead that same second. Judgement is coming and it will start from the house of the Lord. As a personal opinion, Tithing is not what makes a man blessed, I believe it is the heart and the motive behind the action that the Lord weighs, much more than the religious act of giving tithes. I Sam 16.7; Jer 17:10; 20:12; Rev.2:23. If it was just about tbe act, there are so many who have been tithing but have never received anything in return. I wonder if it was tithe that made God bless Solomon such that there was none like him, before or after. God is not in a transactional relationship with believers. Whatever we are or enjoy, we have received by grace and mercy, lest any man should boast. Jesus came to institute a new order...CHEERFUL GIVING. He laid that foundation by WILLINGLY laying down His own life as a propitiation for our sins and the sins of the world. That is the new order...GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER. So any doctrine/ teaching that seeks to give a personal interpretation to God's words or attempts to manipulate the integrity of God's words and His righteousness is a FALSE DOCTRINE/ TEACHING. The Most High God warned His children not to add or subtract from the scripture. This leads to condemnation, he said Job's blessings weren't secured due to not paying tithe but gave liberally to the poor, what a heresy. Well, I was expecting you to come up with a verse that specifically stated Job paid tithe. We read from scriptures that when you pay tithe GOD rebukes the devourer. Everything else Job did was recorded but not tithing. So it is logical to conclude as Oyedepo did. GOD is the only wise God. If Job had paid tithe I’m not sure GOD would have also allowed satan to attack him thereby discrediting HIS own word. So all these vituperations are not necessary, and you can always express your views without being rude or insulting. Cheers!

The bible said, Men of God should not strive Job has no understanding of tithing therefore he didn't tithe. Given can not over rule the place of tithing. And the scripture cannot be broken. God built and heghed around job but there was a loop hole which was the understanding of tithting he didn't have and that was where Satan uses to attack job. God can not tempt a man with evil. During his trials job said that which I greatly fear has come upon me. So there was a loop hole. No matter how rich a man may become if he has no security he will be living in fear of an attack or loosing. That was the case of job. People who often criticized tithing don't pay tithe at all. But the truth is that, it (tithe) working heavily. God said to Abraham I will bless them that bless you and course them that course you. And Jesus Christ has brought us to the kind of Abrahamic blessing (Gal. 3:13-14) When mirriam spoke against Moses she was plagued with leprosy. Man of God, with all due respect, your tone was too harsh on the man of a God in focus. You can make your opinion known without the hate fuelled possibly by carry-over prejudices which you may not have proven. Human imperfections sometimes interfere with our output. Two wrongs cannot make a right. To be honest, I feel so embarrassed to see ministers go to the public domain to counter one another instead of focusing on the gospel. God can protect your wealth when he loves you. Gods love can protect you and your household. psalms 91 says so. the reason God removed the hedge of protection was because Job did not pay his tithe.
