The only man who had to stop his show out of Content shortage .my man never left that Tshirt... Not everybody will have this story but one of the favorite of childhood...
Without Jeremy Wade , I don't know if I would have ever heard of or seen a Goliath Tigerfish. That's a brutal looking freshwater fish.

I love how Jeremy demonstrates the proper way to handle large fish. I am studying how anglers handle Striped bass for my honours project (among other things) The way Jeremy does it DRASTICALLY improves the survival of the fish. There are studies out there that show that CNR mortality rates and it isn't as low as you think it is. It all depends on post-catch handling.

If you google his list of attacks during the show, he lost part of his upper arm to from a 2hr battle with a large stingray, he's survived a plane crash, had been threatened at gunpoint once, and probably numerous cuts and scrapes from just fishing in general. He also caught malaria at one point. Stabbed in the back of the hand by a small catfish, smacked in the sternum by an 80lb arapaima which could have been a more harmful hit.
