Been watching you and Ben for a couple years now and I never felt like I needed to have any MFer rods, but I feel like my type of fishing relates so much better to what you do and that gets me on board. I watch when you cast the spinning rod you close the bail without turning the handle afterwards at least one turn. You can see at 5:30 until the hook set your line is not in the roller but under the wire so opens bail when you jerk. Not nitpicking but just an observation that might help a little. I grew up using bait casters exclusively, so have been going through the same stuff myself learning new habits with a spinning reel. Sometimes especially with small braid I will get it wrapped around everything within 10 foot of me if the wind is blowing. Your skill with a spinning rod is already light years ahead of me.

For any Haters, Its Josh's channel and you don't have to watch you know. As far as I'm concerned, I love the fact he talks a lot and its not dead or boring. Its always good to watch and hes a good fisherman. My only problem is that he doesn't respond to positive social media comments much. Lol. Great stuff as always Josh. Love your vids. Just a suggestion, for those deep hooked fish, get you a pair of long handled wire cutters/hook cutter and you can cut the hook off at the bend, makes it much easier for them to get rid of it. We have had to use it on bass many times when they have swallowed plastic worms. Tight lines

10lb can hold a lot, I used a medium rod with 10lb test and sturgeon and catfish with it! As long as they ain't go in the rocks your good! It's always fun!
