Have caught bigger, off the beach, but had a bit of a break of a long bad run off a local Mid North Coast beach. Got myself, on a metal, Arma, Metalik bait profile lure yesterday very early, morning. Got me self a 47cm Tailor. Cool! Should be lots more schooling up, and Salmon off the longer, surf beaches, with all the features you need. Gutters and Channels. Can’t wait! There’s plenty more of those good beaches locally.

Just to mention, Winters the time when the bigger ones show up and school up,i.e. good Tailor and Salmon, along with the big Jewies and there have lately been a lot of sightings of Longtail Tuna, busting up in close off the Mid North Coast Beaches. It’s all too much, the mind boggles!!😮

Yeah, and isn’t it bullshit that you need to throw huge plastics and big glidebaits to get the big-uns. Also if yr going small, puts you in the money for a good Bream or Trev. or Mangrove Jack!!

@@justinadams5159 I'm stuck in the middle on that mate as I've targeted big flatty twice with big lures and both times I got 70cm plus flathead, but the 2 other biggest flathead Ive caught have been on small plastics so I'm not on fence, butttttt big fish can eat small lures and small fish can't eat big lures so I mean going smaller would be more ideal to increase your chances

Great work bro, on a 2 inch plastic as well that's insane. Other channels don't really capture how intense it is landing one of those giant females from the shore. I've definitely lost more 70cm+ fish at my feet than I've landed, not that I've hooked that many either haha. Keep it up bro there's gotta be a metery in there somewhere

I ran into another one way upstream there with a bucket of baby bream and whiting, can't really do much but its good to see the jewies and flathead seem to be in good numbers. gonna be getting some 4 inch holt prawns just for them 👌👌

What're you suggesting? That perhaps it's not 88cm? I did measure it and no I didn't include it in the video because showing the fish on a tape measure instantly takes away from the moment of catching a fish that size, you will find 80% of KZbin won't show the BIG fish on the measure mat
