I like that PBS Eons gives a minute and a half intro that gives a big rundown of what the animal is called and some of the basic questions that will be answered in the video, so that I can figure out if i’m actually interested in the topic. It works really nicely for my ADHD, which can’t sit through five minutes to figure out if I’m actually interested. I really like it!

They keep wondering if the Beelzebufo came from the PacMan frogs by rafting across from Madagascar, but this seems impossible since the Beelzebufo is much older. Considering that, why couldn't it have worked the other way with the PacMan frogs travelling to South America from Madagascar? That would explain the dates as well as the similarities between them. Of course convergent evolution is possible but the number and complexities that are different than other frogs but exactly the same in Beelzebufo and Pacman kind of rule that out if they were not interbreeding and they obviously weren''t.

I would have loved to hear Beelzebufo's call! Would have been so deep. I personally think there were prehistoric frogs bigger than this, just haven't been found yet.

"Honey, we're heading out. Do you have everything ?" "Yes, Mommy." "Let's see, your hover shoes, your collection of rare Earth minerals, your teleporter bracelet." "That's it ! Let's go !" *the family takes off in the classic flying saucer those millions of years ago* "Oh no, I forgot something !" "What is it honey ?" "My pet. My Befo." "You're Beelzebufo frog ? She's still on Earth ?" "Yep." "Well we can't go back now. You know how time travel works. Sorry, honey. Maybe we'll buy you another one later." **Scientists today still baffled where this frog came from**
