I love the idea of LEGO Horizon because it means we have a chance for more LEGO sets. I'd adore a Slaughterspine, Thunderjaw, and Stalker. Plus more Aloy minifigures. As for Assassin's Creed Shadows, I can't wait for it. I'm so excited.

@@kevinlist3330 they’re pretty good games, even if I don’t like them. One thing that cannot be argued, however, are their publishers’ scummy decisions. Even if the new AC is good (i personally never cared since Unity, so I’m not concerned with the quality), the idea of letting people preorder up to $120 worth of a game without ever seeing a hint of gameplay is not surprising from a company like Ubisoft. It’s common practice at this point.

I just think they messed up announcing the game so early. We already knew it was in development and I’m not a fan of these companies announcing games years before they release, makes the wait feel even longer lol. Although I thought Fallout 4 sucked, it was pretty cool how Bethesda didn’t show it off until it was only months away from release

I'm curious about that title, "LEGO Horizon Adventures." It makes me think that this might not be a direct adaptation of the games, but rather a set of stories set in the world told through the medium of LEGO. I'm just saying, it's hard to imagine something like the Proving Massacre or the revelation behind Project Zero Dawn being redone in LEGO.

the problem with shadows, like many games, has been the pre-order scaling. double price for an extra level and a couple in game perks is wild. I just don't see the point in complaining. don't buy it or buy the higher tier if you don't want it, but this is the way companies will choose to make some of their money back for the foreseeable future

Horizon is definetely one of the best Franchises in recent years. A LEGO Horizon would surely be interesting in the least. Ubisoft honestly's been getting way too many "passes" all things considered and I feel people should seriously not waste their money with anything related to Ubisoft. They're not the only ones pushing for the Live Service model but they were the ones whose boss openly said "people need to get used to not owning their games..." and out of the companies that pull shady practices they're the ones with worst track record in terms of bugs (so much so a lot of folks call them Buggysoft) so if there is one Developer that should thread carefully and have its leaders mind their toungues that's definetely them. On a side note regarding Sony and Microsoft as clearly Phill Spencer's obssession with this flexing contest between Xbox and Playstation hasn't worked on Xbox's favor I've got this probably unpopular crazy idea which is maybe instead of focusing on launching consoles and losing to the race to Sony, maybe they should take a different approach and turn Xbox into a gaming purpsed Operating System rather than an Eco System with Consoles and Windows, and also capitalize on the fact that Microsoft will kill Windows 10 next year and a fair amount of folks aren't happy with Windows 11... This way they could get an Operating System geared more towards gaming (kinda like a console OS) without the bloat (and the spyware) with (if folks wanted to) support for running Windows applications. it would improve performance for folks who want to mainly game on their PCs (and maybe help the company's reputation among users in the process) and would be something they wouldn't have to fight Sony on (because the console thing doesn't seem to be working and even the temptation of getting into the handheld gaming PC "à la" Steam Deck doesn't seem to be what folks want)

Yeah Microsoft offered a 10 year contract to Sony and they signed, so Call of duty for the next 10 yeats will be on playstation , hellblade doesn't have a cliff hanger and the sequel is a 9 hour tech demo and could make it to playstation just to get some sales.

Then everyone's like show me gameplay Ubi, and they do and some people like it, and some people don't. At first when the game comes out people are like not for me. I wish Borderlands would make ONE change. The frames of the weapons stay the same, so if you have a favorite you can keep it, BUT all the items will now be mods to each weapon. Scopes, lasers, clips, so on and so on. A multitude of possibilities if they did that. You can keep the weapon you like, just add or remove the parts that you seem to like.

Heartlands was always going to flop. The Division 2 was an epic game and still is. It gets loads of updates and is still the perfect example of an evolving looter-shooter live-service game, despite coming out 5 years ago! Heartlands was flawed from the get go. You can get Div2 on PS Plus and it's constantly on sale for under ten bucks, so why would anyone want to void all their thousands of hours of grind in Div2 to move to a cut-rate free-to-play version when Div3 is coming down the pipe anyway? Division 3 is going to be a masterpiece, hopefully. Massive are an awesome dev company and are so in tune with the div community, I can't wait to see what they do. One of the few studios I have total faith in to release an epic game only when it's ready and not before. Hopefully Ubi don't have their leash too tight around their neck, that's all I'm saying!
