I'll be honest... that's kind of me. I mostly grew up with Nintendo and as a result I missed out on the vast majority of notable releases from the seventh and eighth generations. GTA, Borderlands, Dark Souls, Mass Effect, all game franchises I didn't get around to until a year or two ago. I accidentally got PSNow instead of PS Plus, and I don't regret it tbh. PS Now is how I first played Catherine and Final Fantasy VII, both of which I consider some of my favorite games now.

There's the joke about him and Danny being the same person (which is indeed funny), but I like Drew's personal brand of humor a little better. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think it's his delivery that makes him so consistently entertaining to me. Also, self-deprecating jokes are used by pretty much every creator, but for me the way he uses them is refreshing -- he makes himself seem clueless rather than #relatable. I guess his comedy is more understated than Danny's or Kurtis' (no hate to them obviously, I love them too, but this is a Drew appreciation post) and I really like that about it. All in all, I find myself revisiting his videos the most often. Wow, this just turned into me analysing the reasons why I love Drew's content. Anyway, I hope he sees this because he's been talking about how the virus has affected his mental health. I know how much that sucks, so I hope it gives him a little joy idk

Oh my god I'm so stupid... literally bought PS Now and thought I was not able to play certain games because it didn't say download... and I thought the streaming button had to do with streaming the game to an audience, which upset me cause that meant I could not play Last of Us and multiple Yakuza games + other good games. But it turns out streaming means you can play the game without downloading it haha, so many more games I can play now, so I'm quite happy about this discovery, thanks Drew :)

Bubsy was never popular. He was essentially Accolade attempting to get a slice of the Sonic the Hedgehog cash cow. Bubsy 1 and 2 were released late in life onto the SNES only sold well enough to ensure survival, then the PS1 game killed the series. Accolade rarely used him and he died with the company. Gex was heavily marketed and was the flagship game of the 3DO. Gex: Enter the Gecko was again, heavily marketed and came out early in the life of the PS1 and N64. This also ensured enough sales for a third game in 2000, again on PS1 and N64. Apart from this, Gex became the mascot for Crystal Dynamics who were responsible for Legacy of Kain and the later Tomb Raider games. He also received cameos in Everybody's Golf 2 and Mad Dash Racing. So while Gex is culturally worthless, he was still in the spotlight. Bubsy was out of the spotlight after 1994 or so until JonTron did a review on the first three Bubsy games around 2012, after which people slowly began to remember Bubsy and ironically praise him. Another two terrible games which exist solely because of memes and a cheap license haven't done anything to help him. Bubsy is in the Blinx, Glover and Ristar tier, whereas Gex barely scrapes into the bottom of the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro tier simply through constant advertising for a decade.
