If Rey Mysterio is the Forever-Face of WWE Dom has to be the Forever-Heel I just don't see him ever turning babyface again,his character is much more interesting as a heel

I wouldn't say forever, because I do think somewhere down the line he will turn face. However his current heel run has proven that he can do this whole schtick at a very high level with great results

I feel like Dom has to stay a heel the rest of his career. If they try to turn him baby face, it might ruin his career. He’s no main event player, but Dom can have great success as a high mid card and tag team specialist.

People forget that Dom has only been wrestling for 3.8 years and his debut match was his first ever because he hadn’t wrestled prior to his match with Seth. All thing’s considered he has improved so much while thrown in the fire pit too soon. He has been learning on the road and on live television while taking the criticism like a champ. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

@@Dylightful the only reason he's relevant is 3 reasons, he punched his dad in the face, he's in the judgement day, he was with rhea ripley. Miz worked for everything he has. Dom is a giant billboard for nepotism. He's never been alone, he's always been in a group. These general types usually end up in the midcard once relegated to their solo story lines. Booing Dom is easy. Booing Miz after near 2 decades of putting in work really isn't. He's one of the most under rated people in WWE. In what universe is Dominik the biggest heel in company history? He's not even the biggest heel in his own stable, and frankly he's a borderline sideshow character compared to real heels like Randy Orton, Triple H, or Kane. He gets a lot of attention right now, and sure he's an obnoxious little shit in his performance, but there are truly epic heels who will go down in the Hall of Fame as some of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Dominik isn't even one of the greatest wrestlers RIGHT NOW, and we have no idea if he'll even last the next five years because his career as a heel depends on riding the coattails of bigger and better stars, like Rhea Ripley or his dad. If he didn't have Rhea's incredible charisma and actual wrestling talent carrying him, and Rey's pedigree in the industry as a babyface to square up against, he'd probably be a jobber at best.

He has the potential to be but are you telling me has more heat than Sgt Slaughter or Triple H ? When Dom has to get arm guards watching his every move like Slaugherr had then talk to me 😂
@Dylightful
@Dylightful 6 ай бұрын
Maybe you're right, but also that was an entirely different era where they used a real life controversy to get the heat. Sgt Slaughter could have been just about anybody in that moment and the heat level would have been identical due to the context of what the character stood for. This to me is very different to what Dom has done which I would argue is not just unique to him, but also he has done more with it than anyone else could/would do with it

@@Dylightful I just don't want him to turn face at the wrong moment. Or if he does, he needs to retain the same disregard for ethics and still be Dirty Dom. He'll probably give off Steve Austin vibes in that kind of character. Sounds like a pipe dream but it's not impossible either.

At this point if they do make Dom a face, the only thing I can imagine to keep his momentum going if it were more like an anti-hero kind of character. Because he could make it big with how he is now, but I'm curious how well he could go for in that route.
@Dylightful

When they try to turn him face I think it's going to be great tbh. Like his heel run has been stellar and frankly one of the best things on wwe tv every week, but his father is arguably the greatest babyface of all time and I reckon Dom picked up some great knowledge over the years from him and will be able to make the shift while having it make sense narratively ^^
