Can’t you report the passport lost and order an emergency replacement? Report the passport to the police when your husband is busy. He was devious so now you have to be. Otherwise start acting like you are sick, like really sick and constantly cannot do anything. He will get fed up and ship you home but you have to really commit to the act.

you can also have your family help (getting the documentation for your emergency replacement if you need anything on the origin countries end) go to the US consulate or whatever your origin country is your husband has kidnapped you. If you do not have some US consulate call them tell then what happened and ask for advice or extraction what he is doing is illegal.
