For sound baffling, since you have the space between the ceiling and the wardrobe you could be able to slide in some acoustic baffles in there. You can also have them come in white or be custom painted to match so it will sort of fill in that gap while absorbing sound at the same time.

Aww you being so happy about the quilt was so sweet and how nice of her to make your bestie one as well. It made me tear up a bit when you said you were excited about anything she made, my grandmother took care of me a lot while I was growing up and was into crafts, sewing, etc. she’s 90 and has tremors that cause her hands to shake so she can’t do much crafting or sewing anymore but I got her into those adult coloring books and I love when she finishes a book. She’s in a nursing home and because of the Coronavirus outbreak no one can go visit her for 30 days. Handmade gifts from people you love mean so much in times like these! Stay safe Lydia, Ali, Lumi, Carrie and the rest of your team💜

I organize by seasons, then colors. I love it this way because I think of a particular sweater or blouse and can go straight to it. We are short on closet space so I organize and declutter once a year when the season changes. It would be great to hear more from the organizer specialist.

Love organizational/decluttering videos! It motivates me to clean! Thought about the echo in your dressing room - You can always put runner rugs on floor beside your island storage table to help soften the room, and you'll still get a peek of the floor if the runner is narrow enough. Love your videos!

If the space is there, why not have a bound rug (carpet of your own selection and dimensions) to lay as you come into your dressing room and another one down in the space in front of your dress closets? They will not interfere with your chairs. Just these two spaces might just give you enough sound absorption you need.
@TheElisebowd4 жыл бұрын
Great video - in terms of acoustics. Try working in upholstered fabric panels. You can still maintain the streamline look. You can work them into the ceiling. Or on the cupboard panels that don’t have the mirror/beading on them. That will limit the hard surfaces that sound can bounce off. There are loads of readymade acoustic panel solutions available, though lots are a bit corporate/commercial. When we are wanting something different we just get them made (I’m an interior designer) x

You could do runners down either side of your dressing table and then rugs at either end to soften the noise. Could go very neutral to almost blend in with the floor. Your flooring is beautiful!!!

So many things... Your nose is perfect as is. Personally, I would save contouring for photo spreads if you want to play a bit with facial details, but for daily wear and even fancy nights out, you are gorgeous just as you are, without using theatrical makeup techniques! I’m loving your new, neat and tidy dressing room! Neat and tidy will be so much easier to maintain now, because everything has a beautiful place with even a few areas of growth, when needed. Yea! Years ago I color coordinated my dressing room as well, and within each color segment it is arranged from short/sleeveless to long, so no matter the season I know exactly where to peruse! It takes only a few more minutes to put away clean clothes where they belong, but saves an enormous amount of time when choosing what outfit to wear! I think you are going to LOVE this sooo much! Just an observation, but I’m curious why you put all your backup makeup in a higher priority drawer (easier access) than the lip products you use daily. I would think backup stock is a rarely used drawer compared to all your lippies and might be the bottom drawer... because who knows what fabulous things might live in that empty drawer one day? Perhaps tissues, wet wipes, paper towels, small makeup bags to pop in your handbag with your daily top ups, Q-tips, cotton rounds, etc... so many possibilities!!! You’ll soon find out what works best for you. The beauty of reorganizing is it is very malleable and leaves room for tweaking and refinement after you’ve lived with it to see if it is suited to your specific needs and desires! If you have room, and I’m not sure you do, but some of your finer knitwear might not get bad “hanger marks” if you used several felt hangers (3, 4 or 5 together to mimic those padded hangers for delicates). If some of the really bulky, chunky knitwear were folded, it might allow for multiple hangers for the super delicate! Or the other way around, hang the chunky, more hardy knits on several hangers and fold the more delicate. Just some ideas that may come in handy... or not! Personally, I hate, loathe and despise folding clothes and even hang my swimwear and pajamas, but I do make exceptions for my knitwear. But of course, we all need to do whatever works best for us! Enjoy your new and improved dressing room! I LOVED this long declutter video and can’t wait to see you tackle the kitchen! It’s so lovely! Well done! 🥰😍🥰😍

I would love to see long texture layers in your hair, with long curtain bangs. I know you are growing your hair :) that would look beautiful on you :) Looking at you from the back , your frame is so small, and since your hair is one length and thick it gives the illusion that you are top heavy. If that makes sense 🤔. The layers would lighten the thickness up. Maybe do it when your hair has some more length on it:) Either way whatever look you have, you are beautiful!!Congratulations on the magazine spread!! You deserve it!
