One thing to note : To the average person, Aztechnologie is a very nice corporation, they basically feed the world (owning stuffer shack and others food oriented firm), they heal the world (trougth Medicarro and other medical firm) and doing all sort of good things for the people. Common people see this firm as their caring mother, the true nature of the corporation is not know to the general public (and AZT spend billions to keep it that way), it can sometime lead to funny interactions (as Aztechnologie being bad is common knowledge in the shadows)!

watching this video and seeing NeoNET isn't part of the big 10 anymore made me remember a game i played. my character, BP, was a technomancer and he was going to set off a bomb that NeoNET had in their HQ because of their crimes against his fellow technomancers. In reality his friends were able to convince him there was no way he would be able to blow them up without also blowing up his friends (he did not care about his own safety) so the bomb never went off. learning this, i don't want to know the real reason NeoNET is gone. in heart it is because there is a timeline in which Arrow and Kl4y couldn't stop BP and that bomb not only crippled G.O.D., but destroyed NeoNET.

TheBurgerkrieg googled it. Never knew there was a game like that from so close by home. But is it any good. But the title in Dutch made me go like ehh doesn’t sound great. “Het oog des Meesters” it sounds so corny. Eh thinking of it. “Kerkers en Draken” doesn’t sound great either. “Schaduwloop” at least sounds ok.

I was thinking it would be fun to play a runner whose day job is in Aztechnologies; one of his main contacts would be in their Department of "Human Resources." (Because if you want to play an Evil Runner, what better contact could you have than a Corporate HR department?) So to the other runners he might appear as a nice guy with a moral code who typically uses non-lethals to capture enemy guards and employees alive, and occasionally sending them to someone for questioning/interrogation - but really he's just gathering people for recruiting, experimentation, and/or ritual blood magic for kickbacks in Nuyen and other supplies/perks. He will also call ahead to ensure that the job doesn't involve any of their assets - and if it does, to possibly make arrangements to protect Aztechnologies assets and make the job burn the Mr. Johnson that is working against them (like hiring expendable outside security at the time of the job, planting falsified "pay-data" that will lead the Mr. Johnson into a trap if acted on, planting hidden trackers on whatever goods are to be delivered, etc.) or possibly if those arrangements can't be made he'll find a way to believably botch the job. Outside of that, he has no qualms about hitting any other Corp. for any other Johnson to earn a few extra Nuyen on the side. If I really wanted to go Meta, perhaps Troll might be the appropriate choice.

Thanks for your videos by the way, I just discovered them! Your delivery is awesome and content is amazing. Wait a second. Lofwyr is just dragon Bismarck. Really nice to the lower classes to keep the loyal but uses them as an asset and walks over other corporations (polititions) if he has to to achieve his goal.

also wuxing has a strong influence in the balkanized Chinese states, as Hong Kong is the gateway to China and probably the financial capital of the Chinese states. also strengthening its influence is the fact that Great dragon lung owns a big chunk of wuxing and it has a strong alliance with the triads. The only Chinese state which Wuxing has no influence in is the Neo Commie state of Henan which has an alliance with Aztechnology, even though the Commie gov of Henan is anti corporate.

I now so want to play a giant in shadowrun, especially with even more enhanced problems of fitting in than a regular troll. Not sure what kind of personality he should have, be the gentle giant or make the best use of his strengths while not trying to mentally break from the constant stress of everything being too delicate for you to be able to be gentle. Sounds like a fun character idea to play with. It would also give me an outlet for my own stress at feeling that I constantly have to hold back because people's ego's are fragile. While they take no offense at trying to take mine down. Also being a social outcast in game seems like a nice way to transform my own social awkwardness as being part of the game.
