I will say lad in order to give criticism ya have to know what you’re talking about. Fans don’t really know anything other than what they see from an in ring product, if your constantly reading bad stuff about the company that has nothing to do with on screen things then your gonna get turned off . At end of the day it’s all hearsay stuff and what a person said on the internet that yas take literally and think it’s gonna effect this or that when in reality nothing could be further than the truth. What's hilarious is in the press conference he says "there's a reason everybody else who has tried to do this has gone out of business." And he's right. BUT, it's only because, NO ONE else who has done it, had zero reprecussions for failure. Tony can fail 100x's over and STILL be a billionaire when it's all said in done. He's not answering to a board or worried about a stock price every week. He's a silver spoon joke, and won't even come close to be Vince. Love or hate him, at least he had balls to be a boss, Tony wishes he had.

1. You bringing up the old territories reminded me of a comment I made on one of Tranquilo Club's videos. I based this on watching Tales of the Territories. I always thought that excluding WWE, WCW, TNA, and ECW, Tony Khan could take notes/pointers from other major territories of the past. He got veterans in his company that have been in quite a number of territories. I would include NWA, but that company is still active, albeit a shadow of what it once was. 2. Speaking of characters, I began thinking of heroes such as Superman, Batman, and Spider Man. Much of the reason why they're so popular is not just because of their powers, abilities, and fights. Its also because of their character as well as their rivalries with the enemy. 3. If I were TK or any creative, I would try to get the roster to write down on a sheet of paper/s things that could help me/us elevate them. - Things or traits about themselves - Things they like and don't like. - Why they made their particular gimmick. - Their interest outside of wrestling so it can possibly be put into their character.

Because of the same few reoccurring characters we see on Collision under Punk, made it easy to follow the show, there feels like a natural flow to the show as well. I enjoyed it way more than any Dynamite I've watched because I was very put off by the overkill gore.

If the WWE can make money and grow the buisness by just existing then we lose unless we work for them or don't watch them. AEW, as I said before, needs to focus on being the best it can be which means they need to focus on growing thier own talent... they can sprinkle in some former WWE talent to encourage some of the WWE hardcores to watch. The Japanese wrestlers can work of you engage them in storylines and use Forbidden Door as a way to introduce NJPW/Stardom to the masses.

When it comes to wrestling and in-ring competition, AEW is the company to watch, but the problem with AEW has always being the creative. Sure, the matches are good, but most of the times I don’t know what is happening in the ring, why that match happened, or why are these competitors are having a feud in the first place. The point is, you can have 5 star matches on a weekly basis, but behind a match there has to be a story, a why. WWE is awesome creating stories, and when it comes to the product right now, I think WWE is taking the lead. Storytelling is as important as wrestling in my book.

Guys like Gunther, who is the most dominant IC Champion I haver ever seen, to a mega star caliber like LA Knight! All these examples are just a taste of what WWE can create in their product and how they understand the art of storytelling in this industry.

In a way the storyline is more important. yes the match and the payoff should be great but the story leading into it is what makes fans care about the eventual match. I mean if you pay attention AEW does tell some stories it's really too bad that Athena is mostly delegated to ROH because she and Billie Starkz were telling a really good story but the problem is nobody is watching that product. TK needs to do better by making his stories clear and who he's pushing because most of the time it just feels random a match just for the sake of doing a match with no real reason to care about it.

As I was watching AEW, one of the fans was holding few signs that said make women wrestling better, which they were legit telling him that he seriously needs to do a better job of booking the women’s division along with the men because when it comes to larger than life characters, you need to literally give the fans what they want by making storytelling fueds to keep audiences invested in stead of saying that it’s a classic match, this is awesome, 5 star match😂. That’s not good enough, when you look at wwe’s business over 4 decades, ex wwe wrestlers who are now in AEW they had a MAJOR amount of storylines back in the Monday night wars and early WWF era of the 70’s and 80s along side hulk hogan, ultimate warrior and macho man that help made them who they are today especially the hall of famers like Ric flair, edge and Sting. That’s what Tony khan needs to do bring a new young business team with good mindsets to create fresh new STORYS like Vince did with hogan, the rock, stone cold, undertaker, triple h, Shawn Michaels, kurt angle, edge, John Cena and cm punk

You're absolutely correct when you say that TK needs to adapt and change his booking philosophy as the business goes on. WWF were having this problem back in 1996 as well. When WCW started their NWO storyline, it was a massive success for them because it was something that no other company had ever done. WCW were producing a more edgy product with tremendous storytelling and characters that were cool and gritty and brought in the adult fans. WWF were losing because Vince still had the 1980s mindset. WWF were still featuring good guy babyface vs bad guy heels and all the childish over the top characters like doink the clown. Vince eventually understood the business and society was changing and he introduced the attitude era and the rest is history. TK also needs to change his style otherwise it will be bad.

Aew honestly should really consider doing short matches and more time for promos and stories. He needs to really hire a team of 10-15 creative writers. After sting retires, he can join a member the writing team. His experience can really help tk huge.

I worry that the actual demand of pro wrestling in the United States regardless of how good AEW is is only there if WWE isn't good. Possibly the only reason demand for an alternative is because the WWE is bad. So even if AEW was red hot like in late 2021 it wouldn't matter because WWE is hot as well and they have basically become synonymous with the idea of pro wrestling anyway so nothing they would do would matter.

Tony is gonna wind up having a nervous breakdown or brain hemmorage or something like that if he keeps trying to do it all on his own. Not turning AEW to look more like WWE. That is why a lot of fans lost interests in AEW when he started signing all those WWE stars instead of going after the likes of Von Erichs and the likes to make AEW feel like the 80s when the NWA's regional territories which includes AWA, Mis-South Wrestling, WCCW and all that. I think Punk was the bad call. AEW was thriving under the unknowns than with Punk and them from WWE. Cody may have stayed with AEW if the Von Erichs were brought in from the start. The Von Erichs grandfather helped gave Cody the name of Rhodes. TK needs to also do homegrown talent. I mean you need new stars, and not hiring all these WWE stars including Punk. They lost some good potentials in Brian Pillman JR, Sonny Kiss, Marko Stump, Alan Angels, Smiley Kylie, etc. The problem is some of the best wrestling came in the 80s, but in the 90s, a lot of people started to leave WWE for WCW because of Vince's ego started back then that started the driving the diehard fans away. When WCW sold out? TNA took place, but they wound up on channels nobody watches, and a lot of diehard fans stopped watching wrestling. When AEW came in? That brought a lot of people back. The 6 men tag with Von Erichs and Orange Cassidy with Danhausen in their corner vs Hagar, Parker and the other guy was one of the best matches AEW had in year. It also brought a lot of praises from fans young and old a like when you see Kevin Von Erich came down to save his boys and Orange Cassidy by putting the ironclaw on Hagar. That brought back a lot of memories. A lot of the younger fans are watching some of the old WCCW wrestling with the Von Erichs.

@@adupree771 Marko had heart. He was like Spike Dudley or Rock Star Spud. He just needs to grow. Sonny Kiss could be a great heal like Ric Flair or Adrian Adonis was in the past. They both needed to grow some more.

Both WWE & AEW have problems right now. WWE's problems lies with the creative structure of Smackdown, the PPV schedule, and Nick Khan. AEW's problems lie with the booking, the mishandling of certain talent, and the backstage drama.
