I love your humor and heart! Your Easter tables looked beautiful! It looked like you and your family had a great day! I wanted to share a gardening mistake/lesson that I learned from. I had 3 little boys. (All in their 30’s now) One summer they were playing in our backyard and I ran inside the house for something. When I came outside I stood in horror as all the petunias I had planted in a huge barrel on my patio were laying out in the lawn. My 3 year old had taken a whiffle bat and whacked them all off. I think I cried! You know what though? Those petunias came back fuller and more healthier looking in just a few weeks. I learned that those leggy petunias need to be trimmed back mid-summer if you want them to look good. Now every year I trim my petunias around July 4th. I call it the ZACH WHACK! 😂 I think of that day when I’m doing it and wish I had those dear little boys back in my garden trampling my flowers and sending flowers through the air!😍

The celebrations in your garden look so happy! What beautiful memories the children will have making bouquets. I started my small flower farm last season so that I could provide florals for our new wedding venue. On the days when I didn’t have a wedding, I put out a U pick sign and had such a wonderful time letting people cut flowers. They were all so happy in the flowers. I got to meet so many precious people. I also asked them to take a free extra jar to fill up and to give away to bless someone else. I just can’t wait for this new season to spread more flower joy. Thank you for sharing your mistakes with all of us. I hope you are feeling better!

I can totally relate to garden mistakes lol. Ranunculus!! OMG! Pain in the nassturtium! 1. Started ranunculus, veggies, sunflowers, zinnias, sweet peas too late. 2. Killed all my anise hyssop seedlings that were looking so gorgeous. Killed some of my bells and tomatoes too. 3. Nearly killed all my rudbeckia and they got stunted. Slowly recovering. 4. Couldn't get any herbs or columbine to germinate 😅 5. Tulips and daffs were a failure. Got 3 nice blooms out og 75 lol! I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting (Positive note: had success w/ Lisianthus, Snaps, jalapeños, celosia &nasturtium)
