Quality information as always! Coming from the service industry for over a decade, I can apply indoor cleaning knowledge to outdoor. Why mop the floors before cleaning the hood vents? Frustratingly, many have the answer lol! However, I’m currently getting myself familiar with the general use of handling basic equipment (100ft ‘gforce’ garden hose for now) & practicing on a house in GA that needs it! 😅

What do you do when you have a sidewalk, but theres weeds in the cracks and/or matted grass stuck on the sides?

When their lawn guy doesn't own an edger, you can wither bulldoze best you can with the surface cleaner (non-professional results), or use a turbo nozzle to cut in before you hook up the cleaner. Or you could get a cheap ryobi edger / hedge trimmer / weedeater / power broom combi deal and add it to your kit, never know when it'll come in handy. At least once a week someone mentions trimming a bush back. Extra $10 or, in my case, "Let me take care of that for you as part of our 5 star (wink wink) service".

Got a question on spraying chemicals. I hear you say you need to give the chemicals dwell time but also not to let the spray dry on the surface. So how much is a good dwell time and should I just keep applying some chemical to keep the surface wet. Things always seem to dry up so fast when I'm spraying. Downstream injector through the pressure washer btw

It all depends on how dirty is the surface that you are cleaning type of surface ,weather condition etc also if you live in the area where there is not alot of algea mildew you dont need soft wash system you can downstream

@@mr.skeptical3071 You're actually not using pressure, you're using volume. 'using pressure' would be a 0 or 15. 'per inch', the more inches you have tyhe less pressure you're using. So a 45 is using like 30x more inches than a 0 or 15, thus like 30x less inches, thus 30x less pressures. ;) Also you're probably using a larger orifice, which cuts the pressure a ton. The difference between an 8 and a 10 on my machine is over 500 psi at the pump.

Every job is different - figure out what works best

Spray the Lichen with a good strong mix and leave it on. The lichen will turn creamy yellow in colour and will die off. Tell the customer what to expect and that after a few weeks the lichen will loosen up, dry up and fall off the roof

I'm grabbing my SH and going sweat equity ATM. Better than sitting around not out there trying but I did do what you said and I do have a 4 gpm machine and a BE surface cleaner so I feel way ahead right not and I'm just going trial by fire and just going for it.
