The Biggest Musky Through the Ice on YOUTUBE (55 Plus Inches)

With the 2022 Ice season coming to an end last year I have this very special fish that we landed at the end of the Season. This giant musky capped off an incredible hardwater season for these beasts and was the first musky through the ice ever for Darian. To say we were happy would be an understatement after working so many years on the ice for a fish of this caliber.
In my videos I target trophy game fish species from all across Canada. Focusing in Quebec and Ontario, fishing from the boat, on the Ice as well as days on the bank in the most secluded to the most Urban spots Canada has to offer. Fishing with friends as well as clients from across the country and the globe you can be sure to see all kinds of action as well as educative information to help you achieve catching your trophy of a lifetime.

@@CastandConquer Our Pa, who was a major musky HUNTER, caught a 52 in. near Hayward WI on the Chippewa Flowage. When he passed to the great fishing pond in the sky, I immediatly claimed the mount, which is in my livingroom. Was lucky to catch a few much smaller ones, including a Tiger near Hayward aka Slayward myself. Nothin' like musy fishing, but through the ice is next level! Was able to put a Lake on the ice near Aspen, where I live yesterday with some 20-30 lb. Lakers being iced this winter. No need to mention the body of water, right?

I’m fishing zone 8 in Quebec where our musky season is open until the end of March. We are also aloud 10 lines per person here. I guide offer guided days for musky as well as a variety of other species if you are ever up this way

Absolutely awesome fish. I would say that a 45 lb estimate is on the conservative side for that fish. That girl was easily pushing 50+.

Ya we were being conservative. Using the weight calculator only gives us a rough idea so it’s hard to say. I have a weigh sling and ferried scale. I just never bring it out with me. Now I won’t forget it at home

These are sticky hook files from Bryan Cusmack. Best files around. He does double, triple barrel files and flat files. With any kind of handle and pattern you want. Glad you enjoyed the fish and the video

The flags have no problem handling the fish. Plus we pair the flags with 90lbs Barbarian braid musky line and 130lbs flurocarbon leaders. This way no way for equipment failure.
