They have things very well spaced so they could probably accomidate another row. I know they also plan to swap things in and out based on customer feedback. I know they have SF2 and I believe they have MK2 and a few other fighters. But overall I agree, I think they could add a few more fighters.

The QR Codes are huge for our success. With over 600 games, we rely heavily on the public to scan the codes and report the issues as they are found. These get reported to a Google Sheet to which all of our techs have access. Our techs are there Monday-Friday 7-3 when the public is not there to tackle as many issues as possible. We have a great team and they are managing very well. We have a floor manager that addresses all minor issues immediately when we are open such as stuck balls, broken rubbers, etc. Without the QR Code system we would have a very difficult time keeping up. The public has been awesome. As G.I. Joe says "Knowing is half the battle." The other half is hiring very talented and passionate techs.

But as far as Pinball, the Ann Arbor Vintage Flipper World Pinball Museum has a little over 500 pinball on display. The only downside is that they are open 1-2 times a year, so not something as readily accessible as this.

Maybe someday I'll be able to make it from FL to Past Times and revel in the sheer awe of the collection of so many games from my childhood... But yet again, a massive collection like this, and no Halley's Comet. I think it was mostly a Taito conversion kit in 1986 and is a sleeper title. That would be the reason why, then, if it was mostly a conversion kit. There are games that were only conversion kits, and maybe this was one of them. Some collectors focus only on original games to the exclusion of conversions.
@angelorusso3219 Жыл бұрын
@@RetroDawn Could be, but Taito used a lot of generic cabinets with no title art other than the Taito logo. A game like Return of the Jedi was a conversion for Star Wars, but Star Wars was still making money and many operators didn't buy the conversion kit. I think conversions need to be preserved and collected as well because they did exist, are part of many player's history, and should be shown and played by those who never got to see a route game conversion in their area.
