I grew up in Newton Falls and lived there, up until 1983 when I went in the navy. I wish I still lived there, because I'd come over play pinball all the time. I used to play pinball at Nelson Ledges, remember what an arcade THAT was!!! Today I live in Dallas Texas and own 5 games, a Pleasure Isle, a Target Pool, a Bank A Ball, a Hot Line and a 4 Square. I would have more games, but I ran out of room for them.

Pinball machines are great and fun to play but a lot of work to maintain. I used to LOVE going to “time out” game room in the shopping malls. Back in the 70s and 80s, every mall had a game room-note the past tense-had. And every time I went in, at least one pinball machine was being worked on or shut off waiting for parts.
@Arcadehollywood8 күн бұрын
There is no doubt it's so crazy difficult to maintain. So great to see this collection not gathering dust.

Wow, thanks for this video. It is well produced and edited, very slick and professional. The museum itself is mind blowing. What an incredible collection of games. The care with which they're maintained is a credit to the owner. Hard to believe there's that much money in the world, that one guy can afford to have all those machines and such a well run facility. Oh I would love it there. I want to get something going like this here in Portland, OR and I have been slowly building my collection of pinball machines. I only have about 10 so far but they are all great titles even have a Big Game from 1935 that I am working on getting restored. I like to buy broken games on purpose to get em back up and running and all of the ones I have worked on so far I have done just that. Only pin I bought completely working is a Police Force which I have been wanting for the past 20+ years and finally have it and only had it for about 6 months now.

We have light switches at the front desk that turn on contactors in the back (much like a stadium). We have rows of conduit in behind each row of games. Every electrical box in the row has four outlets; each box has their own individual 15 amp breaker behind the wall for four games. Much credit is due to the company that installed it (CR Electric). The conduit is so well done that you wouldn't notice it unless you were looking for it. It's actually amazing art.
