Wales being at home against Italy narrowly makes Italy my favourite to win the wooden spoon… strong young team and they club sides are looking in good form, perhaps they can carry some of that over

Are you really asking if they will change their whole strategy because they lost a game to the all blacks by 4 points ? A game that saw their prop penalised by Wayne Barnes 3 times where he should have been penalising the ABs? A game where a penalty try was awarded whereas a try would have added an additional 2? Where a try was held up over the line? It’s fairly daft to suggest that the only team to beat the world champions RSA, who trounced the ABs the week before the WC, are somehow a failure. It is so idiotic to say.

Massively biased irishman here. I am not worried about ireland. Crowley is the kind of guy to become a diamond under this pressure. He has stolen it from ross byrne who cracked under pressure. I see them playing their usual game but relying more on individual bursts instead of sextons famous wraparounds, crowley likes to kick more for corner and is very very good at it. Against france it is a coinflip, the home advantage for france is very significant but i do think our squad is more settled it just becomes about what playstyle we want to go with

Irelands in a pretty good place. I dont think they need to change their game plan whatsoever. Even winners lose. That nz game had about 6 margins. I do think france will come out the blocks and possibly win the first half but i see them getting tired in the second half like last year and a crucial score in the last 10 minutes.

Do you mean England? If so, we lost to Wales’ 2nd XV before the World Cup, and scraped past a few poor teams. Then we played a South African team that decided to train through the semifinal because they tapered for the quarters and wanted to taper for the final. They were deep in the fatigue cave and we didn’t beat them.

With all due respect England finished third courtesy of the pool they were in and with all due respect an easy route to the semi finals.they avoided the top for sides till the semi but did excellent against South Africa but still ultimately had an easy March third place.
