I believe that people want to "be heard" and "seen." People need validation. Content creator, digital creator are just titles to legitimize their content or brand, either to be incentivized or attention seeking satisfaction, they feel the need to be rewarded. A lot of those videos are clown shows and embarrassing to say the least.
