Finn was definetly a simp in the early seasons, but he was just a naïve kid. Then he became pretty manipulative and an asshole in his relationship with fire princess. Then he learned from his mistakes and made up with people he hurt in the past. I really like how we watched finn grow up and see how he matured through his ups and downs. Thats why adventure time is my all time favourite show, the character and plot development was on point.

I think you should look up the episode where Jake loses his powers to the witch after he lied about eating donuts at her garden. The lesson of the episode had taught me about the difference between apology and honesty. Saying "I'm sorry" isn't gonna be enough since the damage you caused has been already done, but once you tell the truth and be honest about your mistakes, everything is forgiven, whether you have to face the consequences or not.

Yeah. "Sorry" doesn't mean much if you don't recognize what you did wrong or are willing to be vulnerable enough to admit your wrongdoing. It's not just remorse, it's about learning to be better. The other person doesnt HAVE to forgive you, some people will hold onto that mistake, but you owe it to yourself and everyone else you'll meet in life to be better.

I mean sure there are humans that somewhat felt awkward like the couple immediately go away because of Grizz's social skill which is disturb the couples aand thinking they having a selfie, but at some point there's no humans know that the Bears are just bears like one episode the entire costumer straight up angry at Grizz for being completely late doing his first day at job and thinking the damn cupcake machine broken because of Grizz despite the fact that Panda having stickers problems and trying to stop the problem of the cupcake machine thanks to Grizz's rapid order special thanks to a costumer who randomly changing orders and the worst part about it the coustumers does not aware of Grizz was no social animal. @@khaliyahjefferson832 yep, amd i watch the movie already but it's leaving me rage inducing that the humans especially the main antagonist of the film (except the Bears' friends like Chloe and her family, Ranger Tabes, the bears' human counterparts, Officer Murphy and more) has no problem to sent three self aware no social skill talking bears to the "protect from humans" cages at the middle of the forest. Consider this aside of problems like Panda's requestment to having a date or the blackout incident from the film, there's residents complain about the bears are stinky without aware the bears are bear. And wtf there's human shock about the bear stack? 🤦‍♂ And thankfully all the humans accept and apologize to the bears and the main villain finally arrested for his threatment to the bear that show on TV and the way how he build the cage area

Made2express speaking facts. I used to think dating someone would make everything right, but all my dating relationships were messy and strange. I took a pause on dating and realized I was probably not ready for a romantic relationship. And later on realized I was happy single, it didn't bother me anymore. I reflected on my life and things about myself. And found my truth, who I am, who I want to be and learning to like myself more. Before I didn't really recognize the person in the mirror, I didn't feel real or alive. It's still a work in process in finding my truth, self etc. There is no deadline for discovering yourself and new things you like or dislike, stand for etc.

can you talk about the themes presented in the episode of Teen Titans called "Haunted"? I feel like Robin's personality was perfectly incorporated into the overall plot and that the message of the episode is not to overwork yourself or you could start to destroy your sanity. That isn't to say that Robin was insane, he was literally experiencing what he told his team he was, but the rest of the Titans _did_ think he was insane because they couldn't see what he could, and attributed it to his usual workaholic behavior.

For me personally, the biggest problem with Finn's relationships along with his development is that no one seems to understand how different he is. He's one of the only humans in the show and learning the PB has development of her own, not the fact she's older but mostly putting too much focus on her kingdom. The fact she forgot the events of Burning Low, only having Finn learning maturely feels shallow. When it comes to Flame Princess, I hated her since she debut in the final episode of season 3. But when it comes to her relationship onwards, I can related to how she feels. Writing two fake letters, just for her and Ice King to fight seems out of character for Finn. Let me address that Finn is still an adventurist. He went through so many enemies in so many elements then fire. If he's attractive to Flame Princess because she's a fire elemental, I can't go against his actions completely. Granted him learning to grow up is still important when she hurt Flame Princess, but the fact that Jake never helped in makes Finns's Simpyness phoned in. If I was in his position, I wouldn't manipulate any girl I'm into. And if anyone's gonna correct me on this, Princess Bubblegum actually manipulate him in seasons 1-2 by messing with him. That's the biggest problem I'm having with this. People look into the episodes of seasons 3-10 a lot more then remembering what the early seasons had. Granted making changes is understandable when it comes to Bubblegum but Finn back then, even if he was 12 to 13 back then, still has recognition from PB, even if it wasn't supposed to be a romantic relationship. Having Finn taking the development alone regards to staying single still feels shallow. Still to conclude, I get it. I understand why people see Finn as a simp. But that doesn't mean his shallowness should be ignored. This is why I didn't brother to continue watching the series because of those changes. I can forgive and somewhat enjoy other elements when the main element I'm looking forward to had a different direction. Staying single is important but other characters (Mainly Princess Bubblegum) got different developments make it harder to believe. Finn is a simp but he shouldn't be treated this way.

I am 26 and have never been in a relationship in my life. I had my first date 4 years ago, never had a girlfriend though. Girls make it pretty clear that they have no interest in me and I am okay with that. It isn’t the end of the world. Happiness is doing what gives your life meaning; your passion is a factor of happiness. Companionship is just another factor of that happiness as well; companionship ship isn’t complete happiness. I have my own values and engage them; it ain’t the end of the world for me to remain single the rest of my life because other things makes you live life.

the thing is also, when Finn finally does find someone he resonates with on an emotional level, he's matured enough emotionally to not let his... heart, do the thinking. He doesn't force it, and is just himself. And it pays off. They can never truly be together, settling down isn't their thing. But they're definitely more than just friends in an emotionally fulfilling way for both of them. And that's okay. If Finn kept persuing his twisted idea of romance, he would have been miserable. His patience and acceptance of who he is in the moment, rather than focusing on who he thinks he want to be in the future, is what finally gets him with someone. And I think that's really what it's all about. Relationships come naturally as part of life. All you have to do, all you *should* do, is wait patiently until you and your other half find eachother along the way.

a lot of people will claim that finn was just a naive kid. no. no no no. he was not. he was actively manipulative and if you think what he did was ok for anyone of any age to do, hoooo boy you should probably reflect on yourself. at the same time, i really appreciate the vulnerability and growth this character went through. his actions were very wrong, but he went through them for the reasons you explain in your analysis. and the payoff is that at the end of the series, finn understands how he has hurt people in the past, and how to improve his relationships with them in a healthy way. Finn gives Flame Princess all the space she needs, and stops running away from his heartbreak - she welcomes him back into her life as her friend after he shows his growth. They're able to bond again, and have fun together like old times. In the same season, Finn finally starts to understand what sort of person Bubblegum is. Not someone to simp over, not someone to resent for rejecting him, but rather, his complicated friend who has a lot on her plate, and sometimes makes really questionable decisions that could do with his input/criticism. By the end of the show, Finn has stopped overvalueing his relationships, as he is thankful for how he was able to grow from his experiences. He is no longer heartbroken, even if obviously he still has feelings for some of his former interests. He no longer sees the first girl he's interested in as a target to be won over at any costs, whether to himself or others. He's fine with taking things slow with HW, even if they don't work out. Attracting forces come and go.

When I was a kid all the girls think of is crushes but me and the boys enjoyed being single because we don't care about that stuff, we only cared about having fun by being just a kid in life while it last. Now they ask something related to romantic, like "Do you have a girlfriend?", "Do you have a crush?", "What type of girl you like?", and my usual response is "Not yet", "Nobody", "I rather not say", because to be honest romantic relationship can be hard and scary. Surprisingly for people who know me I'm scared of girls who's not my cousins or siblings, girls that I've never met before at school. There's a freedom and joy of being single, they didn't realize this but I only the one who did. Will I get a girlfriend?... Probably not since I'm ugly lol. Being single teaches me a lot things about loving yourself, I hope other people also learned that.

Finn can be a simp sometimes but they did him dirty with flame princess and huntress wizard. He made one mistake with flame princess and she immediately broke up with him forever. Princess bubblegum insulted her and made her destroy her family airlooms yet flame princess forgave her but struggled to forgive Finn for one mistake. Then huntress wizard was just like, nah bro spirit of the forest can’t really date you. So pretty sad but I guess they didn’t want controversy over who he would marry.

This makes me think about the relation of Asgore and Toriel : they left each other forever, and Toriel will never forgive the murders of the 6 children. But, at the end of the game, we cleary see an evolution from the beginning. Before, Toriel didn't want to even pronounce Asgore's name, but at the end, she looks like she's accepting him. So even if they don't in couple anymore (and won't be), they slowly became friends

So a girl broke up with me 6 months ago. Overall, it wasn't my fault nor her, just external factors we couldn't control or outgrow. I remember our conversations about how we would always remain friends even if we split up. Honestly, I lost hope about it, even though I still like her as a person and finds her a nice human being.
