@@Rkatondonegal Morph would kick Mystique's ass. Mystique is only limited to mimicking voices and appearances. Morph can change their entire body mass and emulate the physical attributes of who they turn into.

I've always liked Morph since the 90's. Wish his snickering lauph we heard then was out more, cause the only time so far has been when he posed as Charles in the kitchen. I wonder why the og voice actor didn't return.

Morph is loosely based on an obscure character in the early X-Men comics, Changeling that was a body double for Professor X. Pretty much an OC that was created as the Sean Bean of the cartoon just to die in the Night of the Sentinels pilot to show how high-stakes the cartoon was going to be with having someone get killed off in the first episode. There's a two-part episode later in the series that inspired one of the X-Men's most popular storylines: Age of the Apocalypse where Morph gets a much more significant role in the comics and eventually appears in EXiles, a team of time traveling heroes. That version of Morph had an affliction where they couldn't control their shapeshifting. Morph in X-Men 97' is turning out to be a great way to do cameos like you said and is also filling the role Nightcrawler had since Chris Claremont took over X-Men and in later versions as being like a sibling to Wolverine and the team's comic relief.

@@themugzyshow I wish Jubilee had more screen time. She used to roll with Wolverine as his sidekick/daughter and was highly capable despite always being in over her head. She does get at least one episode centered around her though.

Yeah, people were so bent out of shape about the morph character. But the truth is, morph was not that great in the old cartoon. Now he’s actually interesting.

Nobody that matters was bent out of shape. It was just manufactured outrage by an article written by a Breibart affiliate that a bunch of youtube grifters read off of but were too embarassed to cite. Pillar of Garbage has a video about the general grift, one debunking the grift specifically about X-Men and he's got a third one coming out soon too.
