Fun fact: in the comics Dr. Doom was also entranced by Storm upon meeting her. Unfortunately he trapped her in some sci-fi material, essentially turning her into a statue to forever preserve her beauty...which backfired horribly due to her claustrophobia. Turns out her powers still worked while trapped in there.

It's not that Magneto has changed, but rather, he's swallowing his pride in order to uphold what he believes to be the spirit of Xavier's Will. Magneto still doesn't believe Charles is right, that humanity can accept mutants, but he's allowing himself to be proven wrong out of respect. He believes Charles has earned that much.

Correction 1: Magneto said closest to a goddess. African tribes used to worship her as a goddess, hence the history, emphasis on African tribes. Correction 2: Storm was not an omega-level mutant in the 90s and in the two decades that followed after the show. Jonathan Hickman upgraded her to omega level only in 2019 when he literally removed the exclusivity and superiority of being an omega-level mutant. He not only gave the term a laughable definition, but he also included many mutants on that list. Prior to Hickman's tinkering, being omega-level meant that a mutant was truly powerful not only for their destructive capacity on a planetary or galactic scale, but also for their ability to conquer death and/or create/rewrite realities. It was a pretty short list of truly godlike mutants which included Jean Grey, Iceman, Vulcan, Franklin Richards and Quentin Quire. Storm didn't make the cut. Neither did Magneto. Using Jonathan Hickman's definition of omega-level would mean that Wolverine could also be omega level if his healing factor did not have any upper limit. If Morph's shapeshifting abilities had no upper limits, he'd also be omega level. So you see, there's nothing impressive about Storm finally being called omega. She wasn't part of the original omega level club.

a) Cyclops and Jean where leaving. b) Magneto is too powerful to ignore c) Magneto has helped and even saved the X men in the past more than once (in the show and many times in comics, he has even lead them) d) Magneto and Charles where "enemies" because of ideas but thrusted each other and had a lot of respect for each other (did you watched the show?). They even fought together against Sinister. e) By the end of the show, last seasons, Magneto tone changed a lot. He even saved humans from mutants in Asteroid M.

Magneto and Charles wanted the same thing, but the methods were different. Magneto basically comes from suffering , and Charles always in comparison had a better life. Magneto was Charles's problem he used the X- Men , when he alone should have dealt with Magneto. Charles's legs were the only things that didn't work, nothing was wrong with his power. He sat behind a desk and made others clean his mess.

Emma Frost was still a member of the Hellfire club when the 90s cartoon was originally made. So Emma with the X-Men is something they would have to establish later as weird as that may sound in 2024
