As far as main mechanics go, when Grimclaw Tigrex enrages, his wings become big weakpoints (denoted by their red veins compared to full blue when unenraged), but the actual claws are still bouncy hard. Aside from that, when he uses his special run and steam attacks, he has a lot of Tremor. So putting in Tremor Res will be really helpful if you can't manage it.

Whats funny is it became one of the easiest EX fights for Uno due to adept dual blades being a hard counter to Grimclaw

His arms are supposed blue because his injury was broken forelimbs. They began to partial die and rigor mortis, this why they are so much harder. They didn't die and it only got stronger, although I'm constant pain. That's the theory though.

I found him very managable whit Adept. He is weak to Thunder, so if you wanna level him up, DBs would be a nice Choice. Grimclaws Lore is, his Bloodcirculation is bad, but whit pure agression and the Will to life he survived, and has now Stream for some Reason. I wanna be honest, if you need all G-Rank Deviants for Bloodbath, get some Help. Its all fine and good until Dreadking. Outside of his Speed and Damage, he flies. Got that, he flies, and three of his Quests are Capture. And one has limited Ressources.

Fun fact in MHGen, Grimclaw's steam smash attack had light beams come out instead of steam, I'm still wondering why they changed it.

Adept longsword is great and dual blades. I've soloed grimclaw and others decently to EX.

I only fought Tigrex with charge blade reason why is because of the charge blade parrying your technically good for the rest of the hunt adept charge blade is a perfect combination but with Valor…it is Hell

CB vs tigrex is classic since gen 4. I think brute rex vs CB in mh4u is one of the best fights of entire MH series.

Yeah he's similar but what makes him unique is the steam explosion attacks, the giant boulders etc plus he has much better AI and insane tracking
