I totally agree with adding Friday, to make it a 3-day show. As a vendor, I'm already there Thursday, so Friday would workout nicely. Years ago, I went with friends to 3-day hamfests, & they were a blast. Yes, there would be added costs to everyone, but if was an option on the table, for the event's coordinators, I would totally support it! Nice coverage of the show. I found it both awesome and overwhelming at the same time. I was tied to my tables, so I was unable to walk the entire show, however I saw a number of friends from previous shows, & made a few new ones. All in all, it was a very good, albeit exhausting experience. My wife is already encouraging me, to get ready for next year! I think she wants the garage back. Let the honey-do lists begin. :p

I was in the far corner in the same island. You can see me in the background a few times. I wouldn't mind adding Friday on as it was way too easy for exhibits to be missed and more time for connections to form. I met some wonderful people that helped me out a lot during the show and I'm sure there are more I could have met.

I had never considered that I would maybe want the show to be on a Friday as well... Until now! Every time I watch one of these recaps, I see stuff that I missed, even for the videos from the previous venues. But Sundays just don't work for me, and if I go too long on one day, I get burned out. Being able to go on a second day would be really beneficial for me!

The Indiana Toll Road is run by a private company and already accepts E-ZPass, but they have no incentive to switch to open road tolling. Ohio has JUST started adding ORT lanes to the existing toll booths. It's kinda crazy. Even here in Kansas, the KTA switched to all ORT this summer and is demoing the toll booths. The saga of electronic tolling and interoperability between different payment systems is kind of a fun and frustrating rabbit hole to go down if you're interested.
