I hope you guys enjoyed the recaps every week. This could not be done without your guys support! Buffalo Miami: Buffalo won the AFC East with a 21-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night and will host the Steelers in the wild card round. Buffalo turned the ball over 3 times in this game and if they have any aspirations of advancing in the playoffs - which Buffalo can - they will need to cut these down. I thought they threw the game away with not one but two interceptions in Miami territory in the first half but ultimately prevailed due in large part to a 96 yard punt return touchdown from Deonte Harty. Josh Allen did a good job of spreading the ball around in this game and if they play like this (minus the turnovers) they can get to the AFC championship game. For Miami - this was a very frustrating loss as they were shutout in the second half and lost this game at home despite winning the turnover battle 3 to 2. Not having Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Waddle among many others was obviously unfortunate for the Dolphins - but they had countless opportunities to tie - and win this game. They play in Kansas City in the wild card round of the playoffs and I have concerns with this team moving forward.

The Bills (mostly Josh Allen) missed good opportunities to score early and often due head-scratching turnovers. They could've just kept running on their first drive near the goal line. Josh had enough room to run for the first down instead of throwing his second pick. They came up short at halftime. The fumble in the third quarter cost them at least three. The Bills need to become the team they have the potential to be if they want to make a deep run. I'm a Bills fan and am glad they won the division again, but I know they can be much more than that. They didn't show it tonight.

If we get rid of him solely because of the loss today in which he actually played well( 70 percent ish completion percentage and 14 yards a completion and no turnovers) then our organization is hopeless and I’m done with this team. Can’t blame a QB for having bad stats when you only throw the ball on 40 percent of plays and allow 6 sacks. It’s not like Fields has been horrendous this season. I’m considering being a Texans fan if the Bears don’t make the playoffs next year we should if we trade down get Marvin, better O line and a new OC but unfortunately it’s looking like we are gonna waste the first pick which btw has only been worth it once in this era with Joe Burrow.

As an Eagles fan, Nick (and the VAST majority of the coaching staff) NEEDS to go if (looking like when) we lose to Tampa next week. Nick's schtick has always been a mood guy, a guy who will get you through tough stretches and get players out there fighting for him, along with helping in clutch or situational positions. That's why you take him over McVey or Shanahan. Well, the players look checked out and ready to be done with the season. He's lost the locker room, plain and simple. Every week, he's claimed that this is his offense, and he is ENTIRELY responsible for the shitfest that has been the past month on the offensive side of the ball. Brian Johnson is bad, but it's Nick's playbook he's calling out of. Super Bowl windows are tight, and this roster is WAY too talented (offensively, at least) to be wasting it. Defensively, Patricia has been a complete fucking disaster. Desai, while not great, wasn't dropping pass rushers into coverage for god knows what reason. Also, enough with this Fangio bullshit. We haven't had a genuinely good defense since the Jim Schwartz days. If I'm Roseman/Lurie, the SECOND the Eagles take a playoff loss, I'd can Nick, Patricia, and Desai and do EVERYTHING to get Ben Johnson or Jim Harbaugh as HC. Get a non-Fangio DC and allow him to install his own defense. Draft Kelce's replacement, then put EVERYTHING into defense. I'm actually willing to take another year of Johnson, as I'm more inclined to believe this is a HC issue rather than an OC issue.

You should do recaps for the playoffs. I would watch them even though I know what happens. The Eagles and Jags are the two most interesting teams for revamping during the offseason. I found out the Jaguars had a 96% probability of making the playoffs with six weeks left. I think Trevor Lawrence may have the most pressure of any player to perform next year. It will be similar to Jalen Hurts a couple years ago where if he does well and takes a leap in production, he will get paid handsomely, but if Trevor Lawrence looks like this year, whether to pay Lawrence or let him play out his fifth year option will be an interesting question or dilemma. It makes you wonder if any of the quarterbacks from that draft class are actually good.

You draft where you draft, it's orders of magnitude more important *how* your team drafts than where it drafts, how it scouts and develops prospects over draft position. Check for yourself, instead of just thinking "high draft pick means better players and better players mean more wins" do some research, look up where teams draft vs their winning %. The Jets and Jags are packed full of top draft picks, where are they? Now how many top 5 picks (that they drafted) are on teams like the Steelers, Chiefs, Bills, Packers, Rams, Cowboys, 49ers? And where are these teams? Half the playoff teams rarely if ever draft in the top 5 or even top 10, while those teams at home wildcard weekend are packed full of top 5 picks.

I have to push back on the proposed grimness of the Jags' future. I agree, next year will be a prove it year for Trevor, but much of his bad play these last five games was because of like 3 or four separate injuries that hadn't been rested. I'm by no means saying he's blameless, but that explains at least SOME of the abysmal play. The main focus should be on the coaching and O-line. coordinators and GM need to be reassessed, but if that all can be somewhat fixed I think the jags will be back in contention in some capacity.

Bears will 100% be drafting a QB again by the time Caleb Williams' rookie contract is over if they take him #1 overall. He already has the makings of a bust in the NFL. He went from Heisman Candidate to out of the race with a single receiver drafted to a team who thrived in a shaky QB situation. In fact, Jordan Addison had exactly 875 yards his last season at USC and his first season in the NFL in two seasons. One with a stable QB environment, and one where he was never really the primary target due to JJ and Hockenson, when both were healthy and having played with 4 different QBs. Williams needed Addison more than Addison needed Williams. Teams will have much more success if they stop trying to build a team around their QB and instead build a team and fit a QB in. Let's face it, the Super Bowl favorites are not the former, they are the latter.

@@elikramer9234 i mean where the fuck would this guy could come from? they waited way too long to make the switch, coordinators don't just fall out of the sky at a moment's notice. patricia was already an advisor, he knew the defense, so it was probably their best move. i'm not HAPPY with the defense right now, but they can't call in some guy who doesn't know the defense at all in the middle/end of the season

CJ threw some absolute dimes on Saturday. Give the man a competent running game and better protection along the interior o-line and the Texan's offense can be elite.

No season goes by as fast as Football season, like damn. That being said, although I feel as if my Cowboys '06&'16 team was just as talented as the current Cowboys. I feel the sense of urgency, the togetherness and energy of this Cowboys squad sets itself apart. This is the best Cowboys team est '95. Now, let's see what we do with it. Im excited. Here we goooo.

Re: Lions and starters. Yes, yes the two seed is absolutely worth that risk. Just look at the home/road splits for Goff and tell me you don't want the Divisional Round game at home. Especially when you look at the Cowboys home/road splits on top.

Arthur wasnt mad cause they ran up the score he was mad cause that formation signals to the defense you are not going to run, but they ran which could cause injuries next time use another formation

That is what Kevin sAID SO He is the CEO. The media is biased with black qb's getting paid. It is a problem everything one of them is gonna get paid but crickets with Ryan Tannahil(WR in college, loser), Kirk Cousins(only one playoff appearance in 12 years), BUrrows(always hurt). Herbert(losing seaso)n_

Also the lions playing their starters made sure that the Vikings wouldn’t win and thus improving the Vikings’ odds to secure a quarterback in the upcoming draft.
@jmitch128 ай бұрын
as a bears fan I think that Matt aint bad as a head coach, he mainly managed the defense this year and the defense was easily one of the best parts of our team down the stretch. The defense kept improving the whole year. I will agree getsy needs to leave but I do believe we move on from fields which sucks cause I def was a big fan of him in a better system for the bears.
@MadameCJWalker-oq9op8 ай бұрын
Not true per Kevin(CEO). They are keeping Fields.

lions only had 2 active tight ends on the roster yesterday, Laporta was playing no matter what. Lions also only had 4 wide receivers on the roster with Jamo out, so Khalifa (also the punt returner) getting injured was unavoidable. There were no other injuries, so i don’t understand Dan Campbell’s criticism. It seems lazy to pick at him for that
@davidmillschills8 ай бұрын
aha, the ponies, love it! As a vikings fan, what do you think of Chicago offloading fields to the vikings for a 3rd rounder? Vikes can select an edge rusher or just the best player on the board! Chicago will have a clean sheet for Caleb, Maye or Daniels!
@FootballAnalysis18 ай бұрын
I think MN should do what they have to do to go get Maye or Daniels no matter what. Get your QB of the future and pay JJ and go from there

@scooterbee27778 ай бұрын
I disagree with your statement on the lions playing Laporta. The lions only had 2 Tight ends dressed for the game, so there was never a chance Laporta would sit. Sorry you can't rest all the starters. Maybe they shoulda benched Goff, but that's irrelevant.
